It's funny how i remember some of these because i watch all your videos and i love the videos and you have inspired me to draw. And something I learned markers don't really make a difference it depends on how good of an artist you are. And can't wait for your new sketches and sketch book!

Yes! I love sketchbook tours, you get through them so quickly, I’ve been on my current one for agesss 🙈 I’ve never thrown a sketchbook away, I don’t think I ever could! It’s nice to look back to see how you’ve improved and it’s great to look for ideas
the illo sketchbook doesn't have the most pages, thats for sure. i think smaller sketchbooks helps feed my ego in a way that keeps it exciting. really long sketchbooks can feel like they last forever and sometimes you just need a fresh start. 💜
I do use a fairly big sketchbook and it does feel like it’s just dragging out sometimes 😂 I think I’ve been spending too much time on digital work recently, I need to get back to sketching and experimenting on actual paper!

I'm 21 and I'm on my second. Don't beat yourself up for it. Some people start late. Some people are busy. Some people were raised in home environments where they were actively discouraged from drawing. Some draw far more casually. Some people draw smaller and thus can fit more drawings per sketchbook. (personally, I'm a mix of the second, third, and last). There's nothing wrong about that.
I think my favorite types of vids on this channel are the sketchbook tours. These I think are the reasons. 1. I really love how I get to see all these finished pieces(and not finished ones aswell) that never made it into videos, and although I enjoy the whole one video one drawing thing. Seeing so many different styles ranging from mermaids to dark fantasy really sparks a few ideas. 2. They signify that a new sketchbook cover video will also be coming(one of my other favorite type of videos) 3.I like seeing wheelz drawn in multiple ways multiple times(shes so cute istg)

hi Rin! I found some really cool fineliners the Pelican Stabilo 0.4. There are in many colors (more than 10) and have a unique texture. I think they will suit u since you have such colorful style. Don't know if there are only here in Greece but I hope you can find and test them out!

So I started keeping sketchbooks since I was maybe 8 and I kept them for a long time. Till a friend from high school had some bad art habits about throwing away all her work and I adapted to that so I no longer have my old sketchbooks. Decided to start keeping sketchbooks again since I’ve gotten to college and I’m on number 4! Love this video!
Thank you for sharing. At 45 years old I have no idea what number sketchbook I'm on. I don't even have most of them anymore. I know I went through a phase later high school, early college years where I couldn't stand to keep them so I would throw them out as soon as I filled them. My mom probably has a few that she rescued from the trash. I've also given them away or just misplaced them. I think it's awesome that you have all yours.

i dont even keep track loll, i just draw on random things and in random sketchbooks i buy. not very organized with it haha. like im currently drawing/sketching in 2 to 3 different sketchbooks, then tearing pages out of anOther sketchbook for final pieces. all different sizes lol.
I think I’ve learned to be more loose and sketchy and stop worrying about imperfections in my sketchbooks because of your sketchbooks being so beautifully messy. Thanks so much for helping me learn to not perseverate on imperfections!
13:45 something you might find helpful for storing your art in: On amazon look for the "really useful box." you can put hanging folders in it and store your loose art!

I am currently on my 6th sketchbook and I'm 13 years old. I started my journey when I was 10, so three years ago, and started in around January 2017. I had to do a sketchbook assignment for school and I filled two, but after that assignment, I started making my own "professional sketchbooks". The first summer I filled nearly 2 and then slowed down after that. I feel like I improved a lot and now I have had many opportunities to volunteer my art in my state, this year my art is being featured in a 2nd-grade classroom and I had my art featured for my county in May! I am so happy I got into art and I am so excited for the future of my art journey💙💙
I started drawing and painting when I was 12, but didn’t get my first sketchbook until I was 15! Up until then I just kept a binder full of drawings, but I’m on my second sketchbook at 19 (almost 20). It’s the fifth one I’ve purchased but the second one I’ve actually used. i dont even keep track loll, i just draw on random things and in random sketchbooks i buy. not very organized with it haha. like im currently drawing/sketching in 2 to 3 different sketchbooks, then tearing pages out of anOther sketchbook for final pieces. all different sizes lol.

13:45 something you might find helpful for storing your art in: On amazon look for the "really useful box." you can put hanging folders in it and store your loose art!

I am currently on my 6th sketchbook and I'm 13 years old. I started my journey when I was 10, so three years ago, and started in around January 2017. I had to do a sketchbook assignment for school and I filled two, but after that assignment, I started making my own "professional sketchbooks". The first summer I filled nearly 2 and then slowed down after that. I feel like I improved a lot and now I have had many opportunities to volunteer my art in my state, this year my art is being featured in a 2nd-grade classroom and I had my art featured for my county in May! I am so happy I got into art and I am so excited for the future of my art journey💙💙
I started drawing and painting when I was 12, but didn’t get my first sketchbook until I was 15! Up until then I just kept a binder full of drawings, but I’m on my second sketchbook at 19 (almost 20). It’s the fifth one I’ve purchased but the second one I’ve actually used. Love watching your sketchbook tours 😍💕
