I felt anxious as you rode up to that jump. A lot of us are in the same position as you and can't afford to get hurt so coming out of that jump in the same physical condition you went into it is so much more satisfying and relieving than many will understand. Good stuff my man!
This video and all the comments brought a smile to my face! I just started getting my bike off the ground the end of last season, at 38. I have definitely had the "am I too old for this?" thought. No I am not. It is so FUN!!! And progression is VERY exciting. Nice work and thank you for sharing! :)
Super awesome video. I’m 58 and i’ve been riding for 40 years, but have never been more than a couple inches off the ground. Just plain chicken. I even jump in my dreams. This is very inspiring. Thank you!
I am 58 and became addicted to mountain biking a year ago. I am accustomed to small 3 - 4 ' jumps, but have become obsessed with tacklung BIGGER. I have been watching videos like yours learning and building confidence. I am not close to any parks to be able to get real experience and am considering building a ramp or two. I appreciate your video and candidness about your experience; very helpful and uplifting.
Good for you my man!! Thanks for the kind words. This sport brings out the young in you. Just takes time. Before you know it you’ll be sending the big ones
That was awesome! I'm 33 and just got back into mtb in 19 years and and today I did my first stairs descent! I felt like a kid again, scared but fearless at the same time. The small progress I make everyday is addictive and brings a freedom feeling I never thought I was going to fell again. Older dogs can learn new tricks eh! Keep sending it!
So rad. This is really inspiring. I used to be a pretty accomplished snowboarder and skaterboarder, now I'm 42 and overweight, but watching these has really motivated me to do something about it. Even if I can't be the ripper I used to be when I was younger, we can still be good enough to have a good time and enjoy that glorious feeling of gliding through the air. I don't need to go as big as a pro, but if I could progress my skills to the point where I could hit a decent sized jump with confidence and be skilled enough that I could do it hundreds of times in a row without issue, that's more than enough for me.
That’s awesome Jesse. Dude honestly if you wanted it, you could get there. Just reputation my brother. Give it some time and you’ll have it. Took me a hot minute and never thought I’d be there. But before I knew it, I was. You got this bro 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Great respect. I’m 52 years old and sometimes I’m scared about jumps…but I will do it!!! Simple drops are ok…but big jumps… You gave me motivation!!! I will do it one day
I'm 58 and started mountain biking when there weren't any mountain bikes. We'd just throw straight bars on a ten-speed. I know how you feel. I still haven't hit "that jump" and that's all I can think about to this day. Nice job man.
Ha! me too. I'm 55 and used to ride steel framed 10-speeds on old dirt bike trails in the 70's. We still rode using the roadie bars (with those funky extra hand brake levers), but we all removed our rear brakes, because our steel rims would get so out of round and drag! Techically we were mountain biking, before it was a 'thing' - we loved it.
I am almost 62, started mountain biking 16 years ago and I am still getting better. I love bunny hopping logs, small kickers and table tops - I hope to keep progressing. I started doing more technical riding in the past four years with rock gardens, east coast jank, gnarly descents and it is a blast. I previously jumped out of planes in the military, played a ton of basketball and love skiing - mountain biking is the closest thing to replicating the highs of those prior activities of my younger years (I still ski). If you stay in shape and keep working at it, it can only get better!
Dude that’s so rad. I love hearing about people who are still in it for the long haul. I truly believe you can keep going at this in an older age. And the living proof. Thank you sir for being the example 🤘🤙
What an inspiration 👍i just had my worse accident trying to session a local trail - jump feature 8 months ago, same with you i realized i wanted to do this late in my life, im turning 46 this year and have been working my ass off getting stronger, your story just hits the spot bruh! Thank you for sharing and ride safe 🤘🏼
man, I'm 39 and just bought a slash 8 for the same reasons! riding small drops one after another, building confidence... proud of you and glad we can still learn amazing stuff!
I'm proud of you for attempting it and for your methods of learning and taking it slow. I did a lot of BMX as a kid but now at 57 I've learned to jump again and it's so fun it's an addiction. God bless you brother
keep it up, I started in my 60's and I crash every other weekend, dislocated pinky, ruptured elbow bursa, shin cuts, scraped knees, I love it, I heal really well still. I just pulled the pinky back into place. I buddy tape it now, and fist to the ground instead of open hand. I'm on my third year.
Great video!! I’ve got 10 years on you. Still at it and no reason to stop charging. The only thing I won’t do is try to jump something that makes my fear level overcome my thinking. As long as I can “see” the line and think clearly, I will give it a try.
Congratulations on the achievement! I'm 43 years old and I started riding a BMX at 40. I'm still learning how to jump properly and I'm getting better every day. I've landed a few flyout 360s already. I take it easy to avoid injuries.
Progress, then crash ... that's what prohibits me, now age 71, from having a "send it" attitude these days. Crashes that used to be mostly accepted as nuisance realities of MTB - mostly just inconveniences - have become serious hazards to a healthy future. Bones are more brittle and injuries take much longer to heal. Sense of balance is also not what it used to be, even 20 years ago. Though more capable in gnarly conditions, bicycles are also several times more expensive than they were 30 or 40 years ago, and I don't want to damage my bikes. I'm envious of the good times and thrills available to under-40 riders, especially with the huge choices of trails and highly capable bikes available now. As for your undertaking of MTB skills at 40, good for you. I didn't really start feeling the heavier consequences of age until I got into my 60's. With care and a bit more caution than is typical of your younger brethren, you've got another 15-20 years of high quality mountain biking ahead of you. Best of luck!
Thanks curt. You’re a huge inspiration to know that I can continue to ride for many more years. I definitely hear the words you’re saying so I will have fun with caution so I can keep going. Thanks buddy👍
Well done vid and thanks for the inspiration. I love the way you showed the 3 year progression. It's important to understand that jumping takes time to learn. And100% know the feeling of progressing nicely then BAM a crash sets you back. It's part of the process for many of us if you really want to learn to get in the air. I'm in my low 50's and recently broke my wrist and a couple ribs, and this one has really set me back. The risk/reward is something you really need to work out and comes to terms with. That feeling of launching in the air and being in control is incredible, but as the bones age and the responsibilities don't it's so important to have EVERYTHING dialed before you commit.
Man those are some hard facts!! Risk vs reward just doesn’t pan out sometimes. Sometimes you have to just let it go till the next time. Hence the 3 years to hit this jump. Hope you ride on bro and keep the stoke alive🤘
This is inspiring! Im 52 and a former bmx racer from the 80’s. Have a major desire to hit a jump again and only hope can progress as well as you did !! Congrats. Debating a hardtail versus a full suspension. In good shape but have a quirky back. May need max suspension Great video quality
Thanks for the motivation bro ! I was smiling there with you as you hit that big jump. That was definitely hard work you put in to get to where you are now .
congrats man! diong the same at the age of 37 and its never easy, requires a LOT of practice and determination. Seeing all those young folks jumping at ease isn;t making it any easier, but through persevierence you made it!
Congratulations! That's a BIG accomplishment. You should be very proud. I'm in a similar situation. I learned to jump as a kid and kept that skill up. BUT... I never got past 2' wooden ramps to graduate to the big stuff. Sure wish I had pushed myself a bit more. Well, there was that time I landed directly on my face and could have EASILY broken my neck and/or skull. That set me back just a little bit! But still, when mountain bikes came along, I refreshed my little-jump skills and all was good. That was almost 40 years ago, in the intervening time, jumps have re-entered the off-road world like never before. And I guess I'd say that hitting the big stuff is something I'd really like to accomplish. I taught myself unicycle for my 50th birthday (another skill I felt I really needed to add), so I know new skills can be learned. So maybe that should be my goal for 60 - FINALLY being able to hit the big-boy stuff! Thanks for providing just a little more motivation and urging to do it! To do: GOTTA hit the weights and bring that upper body up to snuff. Maybe a foam pit/huge balloon landing? Would be REALLY nice to be able to work the big air with minimal consequence to gain the skills & gumption before the real (hard) world!
Thank so much for the insight. It’s funny cause I have a similar story. Back when I was 20 I tried dirt jumps just once on my BMX bike. It was a nasty crash that put me in the hospital and it scared me for life. Well until now, until 3 years ago. Glad to hear you’re still shredding. I definitely have some pretty big goals for the future.
I'm 42 and started officially trail riding in 2020. I did my first bike park season last year and know how the jumping goes dude. I rode the jump trail over 100 times, destroying my hands in the process (they still kinda hurt from September of last year) and I still have a long ways to go. The issue I have is the consequences go up each day as you age lol, so as much as I enjoy doing this and continue to get better, I also limit myself on purpose to keep a level head. Keep at it brother. Subscribed.
@@RydenDirty you bet man! Yeah when I'm approaching a jump like that, I get some good speed but scrub it off at the last second out of fear. Getting better at it tho. It's inspiring to watch you do it, so i'm stoked to give my challenges a try when my riding places open. Keep it up brother!
Great video, very motivational. I'm about to turn 44 this year, with almost three years doing Enduro, and two hard crashes, but we recovered and are still going stronger than before. Keep it up! Cheers
So sick! I’m 46 and last summer my local ski resort opened some lift access trails with jumps way bigger than anything I’ve ever hit. It was my goal to be able to clear every jump by the end of the season. It took me until the last day to hit a step up like this one. Felt so good to finally get it. Can’t wait for the snow to melt so I can get back up there.
Yes! This video speaks for all of us over 40 and 50 and...so on. Def a mind game for me at 52. So cheers to you and the older MTB club! Thanks for the video!
This video speaks to me. Not in the mountain bike sense but age and family and career wise and trying new things mostly snow and Moto concerned. Love it. Thanks man.
Right on man. Im turning 41 this year and started learning how to DJ at 35. Such a great discipline to have along with MTB once you put in the time and efforts and thousands of jumps it takes to becomes a decent DJ rider. A good DJ set is so much fun 🤘
Thanks for sharing! For all the amazing cinematic videos put out by bike companies, we need more of this to encourage more to join and continue in the sport!

Cool vid! I relate to this being 42. I’ve been riding since the 90’s but I really haven’t made any intentional efforts to improve my skills in certain areas until the past 10 years or so. Crashing definitely hurts more after 40. Keep shredding!
Right on bro. You're going to keep getting better. I'm also in my 40s and have been riding for awhile (mostly XC trails) but never practiced jumps. I want to get a hardtail to practice jumps at a bike park and to use on some intermediate trails with jump features.
54.5 yo. Riding off and on for 15yrs. Replaced Hip, Replaced Knee. This is definitely motivation for me to quit being so hesitant to try jumps. Can’t seem to get out of my own head.
Dude this story IS ME! Lmao! I just turned 38 and I bought a Costco mountain bike “north rock 27.5” and have been riding towing my daughters (got my wife the same bike). My MTB friend has gotten me way into MTB now and I’m ready to step up to a full squish bike but man wow their expensive. Nonetheless I wanna get out there and learn to jump but was starting to think maybe I shouldn’t as I’m getting older and have real responsibilities. But this video, just inspired me to go for it… LETS GO!
Hell ya bro!!! Get out there!! Dude I couldn’t believe how expensive they were when I got into it. But it’s my only hobby so it’s worth it to me. Plus getting the whole family into it is totally worth it
Way to go! I'm 50.....been riding a pretty long time.... started jumping at 48.... progress has been good. When you are older you can be more methodical about the approach vs. the younger more reckless versions of ourselves.
It is never too late. Been mountainbiking for decades and had sometime the idea to start gravity biking at the age of 43. Well, that's almost 12 years ago. After a bad crash in the french Alps 2018 a little slower now, but still on the bike. 😊
54 here riding in Kansas. I just cannot stop doing this. I am a little curious as to why there are so many of us that are over 40. I ride and rarely see a younger person riding. For me it is a high. I will stop, take some water, listen to the nature, and it is spiritual at times. I don't do big jumps but love the trails and the more difficult the better.
Wow Erik, the video was very inspiring, great footage, nice review and a fantastic job on the step up. Keep up the good work brother and have a great week. Ride on🤙
Your video means a lot to me....I used to only road bike in London UK. Moved to Canada aged 37 and that's when I started mountain biking...it's been about 4 yrs now and I went from a rocky mountain hardtail to a Spectral 29 last year. I can just about do small jumps and drops.....but recently got some armour and a full face helmet so I try some proper stuff like you've been. It's a slow journey. Your video really inspires me because I've passed 40 too
Hey buddy thank you for the kind words🙏🙏🙏 it’s nice to know there is a lot of us wanting to jump and we are all around the same age. It definitely takes time but it’s worth the journey. 36 here and 2 years into my MTB life and man its an obsession for sure. Nice progression. Keep up the riding, just from year 1 to my second year the progression is insane. Practice Practice Practice. 👍
Great video. I'm 52, been riding MTB for over 15 years, and have recently tried to really up my game re: jumps. The other day I hit a new jump line and was really spooked because I was "bucking" the jumps and nearly going OTB. Been binging some UA-cam for tips and this video was great inspiration.

41yrs young down here in Australia and not unlike most here il can assume, that adulting also grab my focus. It called dibs and told my inner young fella to rack off, go and hide and wAit to be found. Well that was almost 20years ago but eventually adulthood found a way with a more balanced approach and iv been back on mtb for a couple of years now. Again il assume like most here not only rekindling the love of a almost forgotten passion from the past but also opening up a whole new side of mtb with a world enjoyment to be shared with family, the kids and their mates. Even finding some common ground amongst their adults from time to time. We all might be up a creek thats full of shit, with not a single paddle in site but at least we are all in the boat together. Great job! Jumping is something I have always lacked confidence in. From my childhood days racing MX, in my 20's racing BMX, and now approaching 40 this summer riding MTB, I just don't feel comfortable hitting anything with a gap, or much longer than a bike length. As a kid I was just too scared to get hurt because it well... hurt. Now, as you hinted, having a wife, kids, a career, my mind is ride to have fun, but also being sure I can wake up the next morning to tackle life responsibilities. Not sure I'll ever have that urge to conquer these fears, for now I'm comfortable taking on challenging trials with my tires on the ground (mostly).
Dude I know exactly how you feel. those gaps will get into your head and it's hard to get it out of your head. but one day you'll get through it. took me forever.

Super awesome video. I’m 58 and i’ve been riding for 40 years, but have never been more than a couple inches off the ground. Just plain chicken. I even jump in my dreams. This is very inspiring. Thank you!
Absolutely!!! The fear is real!! But eventually it gets less scary. Never goes away but definitely becomes less
That’s badass Anderson!! Dude those badass accomplishments is what makes this sport worth it 🤙
Epic video man, been riding for a year(35yrs old), jumping but not fully comfortable jumping gaps yet, this video definitely is inspirational🔥
Hell ya man let’s get out there and get it. Gaps are always scary no matter what
Started jumping my Raleigh Strika when I was 7 ish in 1978-79. Just got me a dirt jumper at 51. Still sending it.
That’s what I’m talking about Robert 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥
@Ryden Dirty cheers bro
I will do it one day
You can do it! Just start small and go huge 😎
I'm 58 and started mountain biking when there weren't any mountain bikes. We'd just throw straight bars on a ten-speed. I know how you feel. I still haven't hit "that jump" and that's all I can think about to this day. Nice job man.
Beast mode!!!! That’s awesome Aaron! We have to tip our hat to you for being one of the pioneers. Take your time and get that jump one day
Ha!
In.exact.same.boat!
That was an amazing video and a great motivator to those of us who are just normal dudes with a passion to do something
Thank you Raul. The way I look at it we are all normal dudes trying to keep the thrill alive brother 🤘🤘
Thank you for sharing and ride safe 🤘🏼
thanks Yong!! 45 youre still young to rip it! Just take the time to get it my brother!!!!
Legend! I'm stoked to see your progression, looking forward to the future
You and me both! 🙌
HECK. YEAH. BRO! Super stoked for you!! Keep getting out there and progressing!
Thanks my dude. It’s so nice to finally see some kick ass results
man, I'm 39 and just bought a slash 8 for the same reasons! riding small drops one after another, building confidence...
proud of you and glad we can still learn amazing stuff!
Thanks my dude 👊🤘Brooooo that’s a sick bike for sure!!!!! That’s what I’m saying. Us older dudes are shredders
I'm proud of you for attempting it and for your methods of learning and taking it slow. I did a lot of BMX as a kid but now at 57 I've learned to jump again and it's so fun it's an addiction. God bless you brother
Thanks brother that’s much appreciated. Nothing like getting up in the air🔥🔥
keep it up, I started in my 60's and I crash every other weekend, dislocated pinky, ruptured elbow bursa, shin cuts, scraped knees, I love it, I heal really well still. I just pulled the pinky back into place. I buddy tape it now, and fist to the ground instead of open hand. I'm on my third year.
Sounds like a rough ride, but if you’re having fun it’s all that matters🤷♂️
Great video!! I’ve got 10 years on you. Still at it and no reason to stop charging. The only thing I won’t do is try to jump something that makes my fear level overcome my thinking. As long as I can “see” the line and think clearly, I will give it a try.
That’s how it’s done my dude. Visualize and attack !!
Literally going down same path in life right now. Awesome video🤙
That’s rad Myles. Good luck on yours and thank you.
I turn 69 in November and still trying to learn how to jump. Thanks for the inspiration. Great video.
You got this my bro. Start small and go huge!!
Nice!
Congratulations on the achievement!
I'm 43 years old and I started riding a BMX at 40. I'm still learning how to jump properly and I'm getting better every day. I've landed a few flyout 360s already. I take it easy to avoid injuries.
Nice dude!!! 360s are one of my favorites on a BMX bike!!
Lovin the commitment and progression super inspirational fella
Thanks my guy. I’m enjoying either all in, or I’m not in🤙
Well done vid and thanks for the inspiration.
May need max suspension
Great video quality
Thanks man. You can do it! Full suspension for sure. Why waist the money and put yourself in some pain. Go full squish 👍
well done! ! I'm 4 months into my MTB obsession and I'm 47. I also have the NEED to jump. Thanks for the inspiration.
Glad I could inspire my dude🤟👊 can’t wait to hear about your journey!!
Thanks for the motivation bro !
I was smiling there with you as you hit that big jump.
That was definitely hard work you put in to get to where you are now .
You can do it! Glad I could motivate you bro. Get out there and get it🤘🤘🤘
Your small jumps at the beginning of the video before you learned to jump is what I am trying to do! 49 years old and started riding a year ago.
Hell ya. I look at them now and laugh but when I started hitting those it was a huge step for me. You’re not alone 👍👍 good job buddy
This is awesome well put together story, All the best for the rest of your Journey and ride safe dude.
Thanks a ton Mick. 🙌
congrats man! diong the same at the age of 37 and its never easy, requires a LOT of practice and determination. Seeing all those young folks jumping at ease isn;t making it any easier, but through persevierence you made it!
Well said my man. That’s what it takes to progress 🤘🤘
Thanks for the video. I am in the same process as you - being 49. Well done - very inspiring!!!! 👍👍
Hell ya Brian get it done. Thanks for watching
To do:
GOTTA hit the weights and bring that upper body up to snuff.
@@RydenDirty Sure! Ouch! Yeah, biking comes with some pretty hard lessons sometimes!
Subscribed.
Hell ya dude that's basically when I started. and I totally understand the limiting yourself. I do the same. Thanks for the Sub Brother👊
Keep it up! Cheers
Cheers to that bro. Lessons need to be learned sometimes. But getting back on the bike is what matters🤙
That’s what I’m saying bro. Congrats on getting your goals met before the season ends 🤘🤘🤘
Yes! This video speaks for all of us over 40 and 50 and...so on. Def a mind game for me at 52. So cheers to you and the older MTB club! Thanks for the video!
Yes! Thank you! Ya older dudes can still shred
Congrats! I'm 41 now and never jumpt, but seeing you gave me confidence that I can do it too. Thank you!
You can do it! Get out there!!!
Awesome story! I am 55 and finally got brave to do some jumps. Keep it up!
That’s awesome Abraham !!! Thanks for enjoying. I hope that I’m hitting some awesome stuff at 55 one day🤙🤙🤙
This video speaks to me. Not in the mountain bike sense but age and family and career wise and trying new things mostly snow and Moto concerned. Love it. Thanks man.
Thanks bro glad this video could speak to you. Us older dudes have some real responsibilities but we still like to have fun 🤘🤘
Right on man. Im turning 41 this year and started learning how to DJ at 35. Such a great discipline to have along with MTB once you put in the time and efforts and thousands of jumps it takes to becomes a decent DJ rider. A good DJ set is so much fun 🤘
That is awesome! Im definitely not great on dirt jumper.
@@RydenDirty Lookin pretty good on that one 🍻
Rad. Well done! I started at 46 and almost 49 and hitting the biggest jumps I thought I’d never hit. So fun.
That’s what I’m saying !!!!!!!!! Takes a little time for some of us but at least we are doing it. And it’s the best feeling 🤟
Thanks for sharing! For all the amazing cinematic videos put out by bike companies, we need more of this to encourage more to join and continue in the sport!
Thanks for noticing my man. Definitely the cinematic style is what I was going for. Definitely videos will be more like this in the future🤘🤘
I'm 42 and literally going thru the same thing. Great job. Rhis definately gave me some more motivation to keep this dream a reality.
Hell yea Chris keep it going!!!!
Thank you for posting! I did the same thing about five years ago. Now at the age of 46 I have to get back from injury and post covid to do the same thing all over again. I needed this for inspiration.
Glad I could give you the spark back my brotha 🤙🤙🤙
Dope !!! I am almost 50 and just getting back into it. Your never to old, like you said long as you start. Keep killing it
Thanks bro 🤟 good for you Brian get out there and shred it🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@RydenDirty I just bought a kicker and a 6.5 tall air bag. Can't wait to try new tricks on it
@@briandhoward6137 dude I’m jealous
@@briandhoward6137 there is a kicker I want to buy too
@@RydenDirty I have an mtb hopper and a gnar factory ramp
Good stuff! I'm 42 and just started jumping and hit my first DH park last summer. This is super motivational! Keep kicking ass and breaking through those fears!
Hell ya my dude 🤟
In my late 40s, been mountain biking for 3 years, just cleared my first intermediate jump line at the end of last season. Skills coaching makes a HUGE difference.
Hell ya congratulations TAG!!!!!!! Coaching does help a lot 🙌
Good documentary. Liked the style! Good for you for hitting your goal. Make a new goal! I started mtbs when I was 47 and I am happy with my progress at 61. Believing in your bike and progression are the keys. Keep up the good work!
Definitely have some new goals ahead for sure. Stay tuned 🙌🙌🙌
Hell yeah man good jump of the profession. If there is a will there is a well especially if you are healthy and capable. I’m 31 and I know if I just l keep at it I will get there too. Congratulations on you and I hope to catch up to you soon. 👍🏽
You will my dude just keep going!!!!
Damn! Congrats to you brother! Jumps are my weakness. I’ve been riding since 2016 and sadly I have not progress at all in jumping.
Its all good just remember you just need to start to see where you'll end up.
Cool vid! I relate to this being 42. I’ve been riding since the 90’s but I really haven’t made any intentional efforts to improve my skills in certain areas until the past 10 years or so. Crashing definitely hurts more after 40. Keep shredding!
Well said! Definitely hurts more as we get older. Just got to learn the tuck and roll 🙌
you are never to old to ride a bike. I am 47 and started 2 years ago and i love it.
Good for you Martin. This is a sport we can do till we are old🤘🤘🤘🤘
Fantastic. Love to see an accomplishment like this. Great job. Thanks for the video.
Thank you Paul. This one meant a lot to me. I had to get over this one to progress for sure🤙
Been following your progression and vids for the last 9 months or so. Way to conquer that step up! So rad! Love the stoke.
Hell ya thanks Tyson. It’s been a hard but super fun road to get here 🤘🤘🤘 more videos to come dude 🤙
Right on bro. You're going to keep getting better. I'm also in my 40s and have been riding for awhile (mostly XC trails) but never practiced jumps. I want to get a hardtail to practice jumps at a bike park and to use on some intermediate trails with jump features.
Right on! You gotta start somewhere. Stoked to hear how it turns out!!!!
You just inspired me. I'm 57 and I wanted to do the same thing. I think I still can. Thank you for the awesome video!
You’re welcome my dude. Glad I inspired you to get it done🤙🤙🤙
Keep up the hard work brother, you're doing a great job and enjoy the ride
Thanks Mathias. You know this train is going to keep rolling brotha 🤘🤙
54.5 yo. Riding off and on for 15yrs.
Replaced Hip, Replaced Knee. This is definitely motivation for me to quit being so hesitant to try jumps. Can’t seem to get out of my own head.
The hardest part is all in your head. once you get a good jump you be blown away at how youre not scared anymore
Amen to that. You think a little more clearly
Thanks so much for this, it’s very inspiring 🤙🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 great job!
My pleasure bro. 👍
It is never too late. Been mountainbiking for decades and had sometime the idea to start gravity biking at the age of 43. Well, that's almost 12 years ago. After a bad crash in the french Alps 2018 a little slower now, but still on the bike. 😊
Keep it going brother. Love hearing stories of crashing and getting back on the bike. 🤙
Lol I know right. Almost all of the riders I meet are older. Might have something to do with the price lol
Content like this Is why I love youtube & nothing else , absolutely brilliant man
Thanks my dude🙏
Wow Erik, the video was very inspiring, great footage, nice review and a fantastic job on the step up. Keep up the good work brother and have a great week. Ride on🤙
CHRIIIIISSS!!!!! Thanks my brother. This one meant a lot to me and it was a huge accomplishment for me. Keep shredding my dude🤟👍
Glad I could inspire you. It inspires me to make more videos since so many people are like us. Cheers to hitting the big stuff🤙🤙🤙
Ha, I was just watching youtube bike videos and stumbled on this. Im 39 and Ive been workin on jumps now for a couple years. What really cracks me up is that I recognized that jump at the end of your video from Bentonville and I spent about an hour sessioning that step up. That was one of the days I was feeling I didn't totally suck at jumps anymore. Just kinda suck now. Keep ridin man.
Hell ya man that was a super fun spot 🤘🤘🤘🤘. Can’t wait to go back
Nice encouraging storytelling. Thank you for sharing.
Absolutely my pleasure thanks for watching
Thank you! Great vision, great footage, great story! keep going, son!
You know this BRO!!!
Nice video! Inspiring. I started to mountain bike august 2022 (I am 48). I see my improvement but still ways to go. Thanks for sharing!
You’re totally welcome my bro. Glad you’re getting out there to share the stoke 🤘🙌 48 is perfect timing
36 here and 2 years into my MTB life and man its an obsession for sure. Nice progression. I always say go out and ride within your comfort zone and when you want to push it just take your time until your ready to full send! Keep up the riding, just from year 1 to my second year the progression is insane. Practice Practice Practice. 👍
Yes dude that’s exactly how it goes. Year two is the best one👍👍👍
Great video, thanks. I love how you committed to learning, but knew it was a process to be taken slowly.
Ya man, I really wanted to be hitting the big stuff instantly but knew that’s not how it works
Good stuff! ya those Bucky jumps are scary. steep lips always scare me. trying to figure them out still.
Nice dude! Just started my mtb Life at 34…got a family and career and what the hell am I doing lol!!! I’ve got a few of those jumps/features in my sights too, Great work
That is awesome Nathan!!!! Full speed ahead my brother 🤘🤘🤘
Thanks for share RD 🙏🏻
and to the rest of y’all please remember that the weekdays spent on the clock at work are for heeling. Healing from any limits being push from the past weekend so hitting the upcoming one fresh af, well a 41 year young/old.
Yeha.💃🏼
Brooooooo couldn’t have said it better myself. The weekends are for fun and the weekdays for healing. 👌
Yeaaah brother! 42 here and still learning, myself! We're definitely not over the hill! Keep shredding, brother! YEW!!! Imma hit you up this winter when I'm down south!
That’s what’s up homie!!!!! Shred till we dead ☠️ broooo you better hit me up when you’re here !!!!!
This video was well narrated, fun to watch. Congrats on pushing through!
Glad you enjoyed it my dude. Just an normal dude trying to do dangerous stuff lol
