- Seems the way to get massive views on UA-cam is to use a photoshopped Thumbnail pic and a real 'clickbait' style title, so let's just see how this episode from season 5 performs!
Thankfully, it stands on it's own two feet as a bloody good pig hunting ep, with a heap of drama and some pretty hardcase moments for Tim and the team.
The fellas are hunting the rugged Kaikoura ranges, hoping that the old dogs will teach the young ones a few tricks, but an incident early on in the trip throws a cat amongst the pigeons!
Bloody good stuff Tim
Nothing better than professionalism. Keep striving. Humane, clean, and efficient. Well done lads.

Haven’t heard the soft swear “blimmin’” in some years! But damn, this video is several cuts above the rest! If ever I’m back home in Kiwi and you guys could tolerate a third wheel, if just to hang back and watch and enjoy the scenery as much as the hunting . . ? 🤣

What were the issue with the goats?
Porky Pig got a knife, no pity from over here.
What language is that? I only recognize a few words per video
amazing content brothas... thank you, from the USA.
Some nice pork chops there bro
Bro gota look after em. Thanx
I would like to ask you something. Is your gun a Thompson Encore? What is the caliber. I'm from Brazil and a wild boar hunter. My weapon is a Thompson model Encore caliber .308 winchester.
That's why I like shooting them from a distance. Don't get the dog injured and I don't have to run. :)
Omg your dog full of pain .. take good care 😢
Is that a particular breed of dog or just non-specific and brought up in the hunting lifestyle?
Why did thy kill the 2goats and then just leave them?? Its my 1st time watchn so dk if this is normal but dont make sense to me 🤔
Goats are introduced pests and require extensive culling in these areas, there's a large population of them. We'll take the meat of younger animals and nannies when the situation allows, but old billys like the ones shot in this episode are no good for eating. We had three more days in the hills too, with no refrigeration, so were focused on ensuring the pork was in the best condition by keeping space for it in the meat safe which was hanging in the shade behind camp.
I like ths
The dogs wouldn't have a chance against the boars, they only attack the boars after they've been shot and nearly dead.
If I kill it ,I eat it. I don't waste meat.
You’re a liar bro
Mantap
New Zealand its incredible how feral pigs have reverted to the ancestor of domestic pigs the Spanish/Iberian wild boar. Its was domesticated into extinction just like the Chinese pot bellied pigs which was related to the pygmy hogs of Asia and because Polynesian pigs never made it to New Zealand that bloodline doesn't exist. The United States is loosing pure blood Razorbacks as Eurasian wild boar were introduced and the same thing is happening in South America. In Brazil the predominant color for Razorbacks is tannish yellow. Its seems New Zealand being freer of Asian domestic pig blood the color variations of the Iberian wild boar are better able to come out and express themselves. The bluish hogs are amazing. Hopefully Australia and New Zealand never introduce Eurasian Wild boar and ruin pure Razorback bloodlines. I don't know if pot bellied pigs have made it to New Zealand but it be good to keep that bloodline away too. Of course China has bred enormous pigs from the Chinese pig bloodline but pure Razorbacks are a wonder to behold and sad to see them disappear in Canada, the USA, Argentina and Chile as wild boar blood expansion is a given. We are loosing the hogs recorded in the book and movie 'Ol Yelller some of my favorites.
Wow, that’s hands down the most interesting thing I’ve read today! Cheers for that Kendall, I’ll pass it onto the team.
👌❤️🔥
Yer bro gota eat some.
💯🔥🔥👍🏽🤝🤝
I am a hunter but I don't understand why you shoot something and not eat it
Goats are a pest species here in NZ and needed to be heavily controlled to prevent numbers getting out of control. No natural predators here, only native mammals we have are two species of bats.
Sira a
Rose hip berrys
Skin it on the spot and then back pack it.
Why would you kill the goats? They are in their habitat, but in your way? It seems you were in their territory
Goats are considered an invasive pest species here in NZ, and hunters are encouraged to help reduce numbers whenever possible.
@@TheHuntersClub thank you, I was curious why it seemed so common to you. No disrespect just thought maybe they were native.
wow, you had plenty of shots. instead of putting the dogs in more danger.
Why didn't they take those goats? Killing them was a selfish waste.
Goats need a great deal of control work done in this area of the country to reduce numbers, and taking the meat from an old billy where we had no means of refrigeration for the next three days would have lead to some pretty manky meat.
this is not hunting, this is only slaughtering, hunting = respect for nature and wild animal but typical english language countrys have never respect
We’ve been making NZ’s highest rating hunting series for 9 years, I think we have a fair idea of what hunting is thanks mate. Everything we hunt in NZ was introduced and needs specific management to prevent population’s from exploding.
@@TheHuntersClub magament to population for you = no respect
