im guessing the 1m was line of sight vs corrected angle compensated distance.
Do you think the miss was because of the angle? Steep upward angle shoot low....I learnt that the hard way!

Do you guys find any difference in the flavour of the rutting buck compared to waiting till after the rut, ive been told because of all the testosterone racing through their systems it spoils the meat?
Gone are the days of stalking right in to 25-30 meters of an animal, you had to know what you where doing, that was real hunting…..

wire creek is public land but your not hunting wire creek in this video that head basin is past lake lunar so your in private land
@@baraklazza1595 - I’ll hit up Anto for confirmation, but pretty sure we were hunting a combination of doc & private. The close bush footage was definitely up past the doc boundary, but we had organised permission to cross over and hunt it before the trip.

No they weren't. High Country bucks tend to be a lot smaller than most of the whoppers shot on farm fringe country.
