I lost my upper management job because I refused the advances of my boss. I am a single mom to a beautiful boy who has seizures. Not only did I lose my job, that company/boss is blackballing me on other jobs I apply for. So now my unemployment, that I've never had to apply for before now, ends. And I have no options left. One week stands between my son and I losing everything I've worked so hard for. And there's nothing I can do but hope. So hear this LOUD AND CLEAR: I still don't regret turning his advances down. He can be sued for Mental Torte and for unethically trying to block you and spreading lies about you in the job force. I pray you will get a job and hopefully a job where you are the client of his firm and they want the contract but in your position that you will have, you deny that company and then tell they why you did as in an ethical manner saying "I know for a fact as I used to there that they employ unethical people."

I know (in a way) what you are going through and it can leave serious trauma to you as I was Financially "Raped" by a man and when I saw my therapist after 2 years of suffering mentally, I figured out that I wasn't just pissed and angry, I felt "raped", I felt he "Raped" my wife mentally because I paid $15,000 for a new roof that wan't put on correctly, I had to fire the lying son of a bitch and then manage all of the workers and had to stay at home to get the job done right and they STILL screwed everything up and I made SURE they were paid. It's when I lost faith in all of humanity and men's "Words" which now mean nothing! I then went back to work after using up all of my leave and I was "let go" after working there for over 15 years! This sent me in a tailspin of which I still have not recovered fully a I'm on every anti-depressant you can take. So that happened to me but your story is so much more horrific so I can only imagine your fear, your suffering and pain. My God bless you and I'll pray you get an even higher pay job with a sign-on bonus. Still won't fix the inner turmoil in your heart and mind, but it's a start.
I had a boss tell me weeks after starting that he could sleep with me whenever he wanted. That he could tell I "wanted it". I tried to play it off as a bad joke because I needed the job. I ended up quitting about a month later. I was always on edge at work and hated working late because I knew we would be alone.

From what I gather, meetings for out of town i.e., New York, etc., when business meetings are set up in hotel suites that include conference rooms, dining rooms and that type of en suite accommodations. And most of these business meetings have been legal and above-board by most people. Except by predatory people.
He met everyone, women AND men in his hotel "room" (suite). It often served as his office of sorts. So basically, if you don't come to the "office" when you have an appointment with Mr. Weinstein, you weren't hired. If you're already on one of his films, you're replaced, or made to go through hell, blacklisted and/or bad-mouthed, to put it mildly. Either way, you lose. It was more about power for him than sex. He was just as much a bully with men, but not being gay he didn't rape, molest or physically intimidate them since they might be able to defend themselves physically.
