Upgraded to the S22+ from an S8 after watching your last midrange Samsung video. Very happy with my purchase. Thanks for making concise reviews.
Glad to help
Where did u buy 👀
How much and where did you buy it pls
S8,S9 was peak Samsung era
I hope they go back to thinner easier to hold ones, not cheating out on resolution and adding a curved screen option for all sizes keeping a small size in the lines up without cutting down on specs
The ultra is ridiculous in both a good and a bad way.difficult to carry around
I still have my s9+ and i put one ui port on it and works well 😂
Agreed on all fronts here. Also love how your basing prices on Amazon refurb and other more accurate to market sources.
So far I've grabbed the 12r and the 2a and I haven't been disappointed by either, especially that 12r display and 2a battery. wife has a 21 ultra STILL (since launch) and now my daughter has the OnePlus 9 which she adores, and that was a 175$ nib with cases and screen protectors and all, still feel proud of that find. Such a solid phone nowadays for the low low low
Just got an S22U-512 in Mint condition for $460 on eBay. Ended up being a seller in my own town. Anywho, it'll be replacing a Note9 as my work phone most likely. Was the best b 4 b imo. The 20U and 21U weren't much cheaper when I was looking. Cheers.
I would also go for old flagships instead of new mid-range phones. Thanks for the video :)
Got handed down a Galaxy
Note10 recently, was a massive upgrade from my J4+ that served me for the last 6 years, everything I do is snappy on that phone. I just have to replace the battery on that. But overall its an absolutely amazing phone from the screen, camera and performance. Also is that Vegas?
I bought s21 ultra few days ago for 150 euros with 512 gb.... here in Europe... usualy price is around 250-300...
Where bay?
😮
Great content keep it up as always brother
The actual price is much expensive than the price you mentioned in the video(from the link you provided).
Please make a video on how to buy at the price you mentioned in the video!
Facebook marketplace or ebay
buy renewed phones
It's resale market so prices are going to change constantly.
You can't be being these phones new you gotta be looking at eBay prices.
Buy it renewed off Amazon
Another excellent video sir.
Hi. I'd like to know if your note 20 ultra is also draining battery after the latest march security update?
They all are
hey man, loved the wallpapers, do you get them from anywhere specific ?
Thankssssss
Exactly, that Vegeta one for the s21 ultra is 🔥
Good video. I'm still stoked with my pixel 5 :)
I got the pixel 7 , not thr pro and damn was that phone awesome. Battery life was good the cameras were top notch , the speakers were great and i loved the build quality. Lastly i got it refurbished so yes even when it was used the battery was still good like damn .
interesting, for me wasn't the best and lasted only 2 days before i sold it 😂, what's bothered me the most was the volume on wireless earbuds, if i lower the volume i couldn't hear enough and if i bump up one time was too loud, very annoying that they can't fix this issue that it's lasting since pixel 6
How much does it cost you?
@@yym2419 I think I got it for 240 ish
The in hand ergonomics of the S21 Ultra were fantastic considering what a behemoth it was. Not necessarily a curved screen fan but I really like the phone overall.
thanks ❤😊
That was awesome please make more videos like this, and also please add Xiaomi flagship phones ❤
Much needed video. Thanks . Love from Pakistan ❤
Still enjoying my back up phone galaxy s21 Ultra
@hottube135 same here 👌🏾
Is the battery good? I'm thinking about getting this as a daily. I'm quite a heavy user so will it be suitable for me?
@Has7DCT the battery is good on mine. Though it overheats when I am on 5G,
You should also mention the fact that a lot of those old flagships have battery and overheating issues especially the pixel devices and the phones that have the Snapdragon 8 gen 1
upgraded my s9 plus to S21 ultra giant upgrade!💯
lol i have the s9plus tryna decide between the 21u or the note 20u
@adonishomefitness both great phones I really wanted the last Note but Note 20 ultra got it last major update and security patches are ending.
s21 ultra was the best phone I've ever had. If I hadn't dropped and cracked the screen a couple week's ago. I never would have upgraded to the s24 ultra. Definitely keep a case on whatever you get. Again, s21 ultra I'd of kept it forever.
@@jcjackson47 how is the S24 ultra?
@curbsidetech5581 , it's a beast. To me it's actually a s21 ultra with a few more features. Half of which I'll probably never use very much. But nice that you have them. I'm enjoying the experience with it.
Got myself a traded in s21 ultra 16/512 from a reputable store. Phone would reboot randomly. Googled the issue and it seems to be a VERY common issue with these new Samsung devices and require a new motherboard which was nearly the same cost as the phone itself so back it went to the store and im back with my 7 year old Note8 that is still kicking without any issues. Would've loved to upgrade... But alas... New doesn't always mean better!
Did you forget the note 10 plus? i still use it to this day.. great phone still
Would you still recommend a Pixel 6 Pro? I had one and it overheated like crazy and was just overall buggy. Now that it's over 2 years old with all the software updates I wonder if it's a viable phone in 2024?
Yes…but I definitely had overheating problems if I filmed outdoors while hot…..but I’m a pretty light user so no major issues for me.
Hi there,I'm just wondering what's best? If someone is on the budget and wants to buy Samsung that will last at least to 2025/6 would s21 be a good choice? I thinking about Ip12 but comparing to s 22 or s21 even 20 ultra it doesn't look very well
S10 plus check that out
The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra are the absolute best smartphones on this list in my opinion. I would take either of these phones if I was on a budget. However out of the two, even though I love both of them, I would definitely pick the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra over the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. Both phones are phenomenal but I absolutely love the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra's aesthetic more with its squared off, boxy, rectangular shape and sharp corners/edges, plus the fact it comes with the S Pen included in the phone. This is a huge part of the reason I am so in love with my current Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.
I upgraded from note 9 to S21 ultra, battery pretty solid on mine, 5hrs 30 mins of SOT heavy usage. When i am playing games and 7-8hrs of SOT on normal usage
Hey Matthews Tech,
You ever got a chance to view some flagship Motorola phones?
Thanks for reminding me got moto vids coming
@@matthews-tech 🔥🔥🔥 thanks bro.
May as well buy the better Chinese phones
Iphone 12 proce in uk. London? New or used?
Lg v60 all the way. Great performance. Best in the current market (still) audio. Great camera. Amazing battery life. Full manual camera modes if that's your thing.
Aaaannnd I got it with android 13 from China for £180 brand new. 🎉
Honestly dude, that's one of the best phone of all time, but many people don't even know, I am not talking cause I know, i have seen and used it for like a week and it's beyond words ❤, to me, it should be the first here, its the overall best
I bought mine and cost me only 109 usd
best choice
Maybe do a review!? LG made an ultimate device with the V60.
Still using mine , will be 2 years in august ,its a beast.@@mac-castleprime
Damnnn slide me the where I can get an s22+ for 300$ I'll hop on it right now lol
I look on marketplace & such all the time, rarely see s22+ ultra or even a regular s22 under 4-500$
My a54 has been a solid good enough til otherwise atleast👍
In your opinion what is the best used Android smartphone under 200 US bucks having an Antutu 10 Score around 735000?
I don't know maybe I should buy honor magic 6 pro or not but people complain about the camera Please advice me
I had the Honor 6 pro, I sent it back within the 14 return period. The main camera is good, but the zoom is terrible. The battery wasn't as good as expected. I'm going to hold onto my pixel 7 pro and see what else comes out this or next year.
Yes I agree my friend but ist without updates
What is the name of the second game on the Google Pixel 7 Pro?
I opted to wait for the price drop on the iPhone 13 after the iPhone 15 release. Reviewers generally praised the iPhone 13's improved battery life, and it was the first iPhone to offer a base storage capacity of 128GB, a welcome change from the previous 64GB.
If you can find an iPhone 13 for around $340, it could be a worthwhile option, especially if you value good battery life and ample storage space.
What do you think can s21 ultra can beat pixle in camera
In some countries, they jacked up the price of the Note20 Ultra.
Just bought the Pixel 7 for $240 on eBay, amazin deal! The OnePlus 10 should also be on this list. Great phone, great camera, great price!
I got n20u , and its a beast in 2024 , i just dont wana change it
I love your take on phones, all the techtubers are always pushing the latest stuff, there old flagships are just way better for the price
I had used S21 ultra for 3 years and it worth every penny u throw on it. Just need to buy 15$ spen and it will unlock so many function such as translate on screen. Camera is a bit harsh but i have fun time with 3x and 10x optical zoom. U will need to charge it 2 times a day or simply just throw it on wireless charging pad. Highly recommend that phone
How about the s20 ultra? Is that one good?
Man that Note20 still looks great with that edge to edge screen. Beautiful device. Its just getting old now unfortunately.
I think the price drop down on s21 ultra is the update thing only for 1 year left tho
It is due to get Andoird 15 and security updates finish 29th Jan 2026.
I got from my friend s23 ultra 8gb 256gb. Upgraded from s9plus. From s5.
I'm on both the s22 + and s21 + used sets. They're more than sufficient for my usage. In fact the s21 + runs on exynos and has a decent battery life. Its crazy how some people are reviewing these phones as somewhat evil when they came out lol. When I actually use them, they are good. Well now samsung in my place has come up with 40% discount when I trade in the S22 +. Its a s22 series deal, suppose they are trying to get rid of it from the market. I might think about changing lol. Although the magic 6 pro is very tempting
Whaaaat I own an S22+ and I ve been considering to upgrade
I guess I dont really need to upgrade as I still have a very excellent phone, and expecting to get that 6.1 update
What makes me consider upgrading is that this S22+ is my first flagship I bought , and even though I got it on a very good sale, I do not want its value to be very decreased as it gets old because I could sell it and that way I could not spend as much as just buying a new model, or even using the Samsung Trade in program to exhange it
Nice video 👌💞
Had the note 20 ultra and hated it. Everything was messy and things didn’t flow the way they did when I had a Pixel or iPhone. Maybe I had a lemon but the Face ID and fingerprint never worked. My wife got the iphinem12 pro at the same time and while I’m not an Apple fan I was jealous. Her phone just always worked
6:42 that Google picture logo is 👌
I can't seem to let go of my S 21 Ultra, even though they offered discount when I got S 23 ultra,I just couldnt let it go.I'll probably keep it till it gives up the ghost.
If you want a "flagship" phone in 2024, buy the Note 20 Ultra. It's the best phone you can buy with the best specs and most features and is about $400 bucks. Used it's even cheaper. I bought one recently and it's the best phone I've ever had, just as big as the S24 Ultra (not as fast) but it has a MICRO SD SLOT which is a huge benefit because none of Samsung's flagships have had a MicroSD slot since 2020.
i have an S24 Ultra, but always wanted an S21 Ultra because of the rounded edges. too sad i was broke when it was brand new
From where i can buy oldflagship?
If pixel 7 pro the same as my mi 9t pro on the CPU side - I'm not upgrading to that lol
I got an s22 ultra (cracked front screen) for $375 and fixed the screen for $25 with my phones insurance since the insurance covers my plan and not the phone I was on. So I got an s22 ultra for $400 and it looks brand new now
What about regular s22 still worth it??
Still on my Pixel 4a and probably cancelling plans to upgrade. There seem to be no
Zenfone 9 or 10 !?
@@devzaks8912 I'm not familiar with those, but I'll have a look.

Awesome video! Please weigh in- Brand new A55 or pristine S22ULTRA for just under 150 USD more? (From a legit online store with a one year warranty).
I don't game and no social media (unless you count YT) But battery life is a big priority for me .
I get battery anxiety lol, I'm using an S7 that I got used 2 years ago and the battery is kaka. I get 4 hours on power saving mode.
Watching because I changed my mind on the S24+. Seems these "older" phones are still good. Phones are like cars. The price drops.
I still have the S21 Ultra and it's one of the best phones I have ever owned
S 21 doesn't get the one ui 6 upgrade with the new A.I. features. That's why it's so inexpensive
I wanted to pixel 7 pro over s21 ultra which do you recommend brother Mathew
S21 ultra.and note 20 ultra best phones 💯🔥
Xperia 1 V is a good flagship for people who need the audio jack
Main worry with older phones is that apps stop working because OS is no longer updated on older phone...
should i get s21u exynos?
Heeeeell no, SD
Just bought an s22 ultra for a good price, and it's a bit of a beast !
Got an s23 ultra. Generally good phone, and love the stylus. But audio quality is disappointing compared to previous LG V60 and iPhone : speaker, wired and wireless. Pixel is even worse for audio. Most likely selling my s23 ultra for a Sony - Shame they only guarantee 2 updates.
S21 Ultra purchased last weekend. £300 bargain. Good job on the videos
I picked one up last year for just over £300 in mint condition. I still love the design today.
@@Mike.Tech. Yeh I was surprised at how well it's holding up. Battery life has been fantastic so far. Near two days for me.
I found a rare new s21 ultra 256gb and it's very tempting to buy it but when i found out that 2024 is the last year for major android updates i changed my mind
Is 128gb still enough for nowadays videos and photo taking?
Valid question
Just got a pixel 7 pro for 240 excellent shape
From where?
S21 Ultra is still a monster even has a better zoom camera than the S24 Ultra.
Ngl i've always wanted to buy a pixel 7 pro but i've heard a lot of people saying they have overheating problems and tons of glitches.
Probably watching way too much p*rn
I own the phone since launch, it’s absolutely amazing the battery life could use some help yet it’ll give me a solid 5-6 SOT the pixel experience the magic is unmatched. It’s a freaking steal at 329.00 bucks
@@katinasoutherland7693 awesome I git mine used 256gb model for 200 usd it had a scratch on the back but I don't Carr because I always put case
I'd recommend the vanilla 7 instead
If you have spectrum internet you can get the pixel 8 pro for $399.99. Only in black now as the phone gets older and they order less variety; but the black 8 pro goes hard.
I mean I just returned Xiaomi 14 512gb version because it's just not a big step forward compared to my old s21U 😇
Actually its gpu is 3 times powerful and this year in November, 8 gen 4 will be 6 times powerful than 888 of s21
cheap but 128gb. 128gb without sd card isnt useableanymore. since apps and games are getting bigger 128gb would run out on a whim
I got a s23 ultra for 600$ is it worth it ?
Sold on the S22 given the battery life.
Didnt find anything close to the mentioned price
In all honesty, the Note 20 Ultra may not be the most suitable choice for this list. While it is a capable device, it lacks ongoing software updates and falls within a higher price range, typically between $300 and $400. Therefore, it would be more appropriate to include it in a separate video focusing on devices under $400.
Although some users value the presence of an SD card slot, similar to the headphone jack situation, the Note 20 Ultra's price point and lack of updates make it less competitive in this specific category. Alternatively, ZenFone 9 might have been more suitable options for inclusion in this video.
Tbh software updates aren't a big deal. I'd say oneUI updates are more important and still not that much nowadays. 5.1 was a great version to stop at and android 13 is alright.
@gustavof2241 I never denied that but the $400 price Tag is too heavy, I could somewhat see why note 20 ultra hasn't comed down in price for the past 2 years, but it just doesn't fit in this video like I said it's around $400 and would be more appropriate to include in top 5 older flagship around $400, this phone goes for around $370 which is far more than $300 and doesn't fit in that price bracket. One ui 5.1 is decent it's just a samsung thing promising 3 os your saying one ui 5.1 is a decent stopping point for this device it's not like this device couldn't handle one ui 6 this device could easily handle one ui 6 and several more updates, even the note 10 and the note 9 or as low as note 8 is capable enough to run one ui 6, finally samsung learned there lesson and is now supporting devices longer or atleast as long as apple support, which is a much better future for older flagships in the upcoming year, alot of people felt discouraged buying older flagship due to software longevity and poorer battery life well hopefully with this extended support they could optimize batteries to last atleast 4 years with full day battery for heavy users. 1 thing I'm interested to see is how long these phones retain their value for, the s22 ultra has retained much better value, I remeber the s21 ultra being available for $400 18 months ago alongside note 20 ultra which refuses to go down in price the s22 ultra still is in the $500 bracket although if you look around might get lucky to find mint condition s22 ultra for $400, but you should easily be able to find it for around $470-$520, I say stretch out the extra $50-$70 and get the s22 ultra, your eventually gonna have to let go of the SD card and while the note 20 ultra is decent, if you have it which you do I believe no need to upgrade its still decent, but I wouldn't recommend buying it right now just because of the heavy price Tag and it's only getting possibly 2-3 more security update and once android 16 comes which is late next year some of apps are going to shift to android 14 and up, you could possibly stretch it to late 2025 and get the s26 ultra but otherwise I'd say it's recommended to upgrade to the s25 ultra and if your in the older flagship market s21 series is the lowest phone I'd recommend buying and if you don't like the spen not being integrated into the phone and using it with the case which isn't as convinent and I feel those people I felt that way to and samsung could've just skipped the note 20 ultra and made the s21 ultra the note replacement instead, if your in the note 20 ultra market, spend a little more and get the s22 ultra they are close in price, if the note 20 ultra came down to under $300 than it would've been a different story but around $400 price is too much, instead of caring about the SD card slot and spending $100 extra just spend that money on extra storage instead like at times on ebay I found the 512GB s22 ultra for around $449 in mint condition which is a steal in deal compared to only 128 or 256GB note 20 ultra for only $50 less.
@@Shan_Shah Oh yeah I totally agree it could handle more updates, though I dont see it as a huge problem. As for the price I truly dont know since I'm from Brazil, and here ppl mostly like the S20 FE 4g(snapdragon)/5g since it didn't come with exynos on the 5g and neither did the second 4g version released. I myself am buying one to switch from a moto g 7 play which can barely run something at this point. Chill with the essays tho, reading all of that right after waking up is kinda hard 😂
What are the names of the games played in this video
Love my S21 Ultra. Got 2 years more life so i'll wait for the S26.
Should i go with poco f5 in 2024?
S21 ultra is the best in this collection nothing can go wrong with it. Used that device for a few months loved it over the S23 Ultra.

s21 ultra 128gb or pixel 6 pro 256gb?

i rather get the s23 fe for the battery life. then getting a old ass phone like the s21 ultra. software update.
Those are renewed phones. I wonder if the batteries are still good.
Just bought a pixel 7 pro to replace my 6 pro with a broken display. For $330 you cant beat the camera performance.
S21 Ultra is the last ultra phone to have rounded corners from Samsung. I really want one!
got an iphone 15 pro mx covered by my insurancecoming from an s21 ultra but ima buy a refurbished s22 ultra because the iphone isn’t for me

How's it doing in 2024? Any issues with light gaming? And how's the camera performance?
Why you all not considering green line issues here. Galaxy note/s 20 series have a severe green line issue 😶
They never talk about it. They act like it doesn't exist.
Never heard of this and was just about to commit to buying 2 of the Note 20 Ultra for the family. What's this green line issue?
I’ve had every Note model that Samsung has ever made, and I never had a green line issue with any of my phones. Not sure what is going on with your phone, but you should have had Samsung replace the phone when you first noticed it and it was under warranty.
@@markweaver4424 it only happen tith phones that released in 2020 and later(s20/note 20)

@@DullaghanCormac It's a lottery. Batches of S20 used defective displays and suddenly have green lines without warning or after updates. It got worse since Xperia I and V (both Mark 2 and Mark 3), especially Mark 2 batch, also used same panels.
Not sure about Note 20 but those released close to S20 or a year after, I had trust issues with them. Sad as I wanted a I or V model from Mark 2 series. 😅
