I love the curve of the box! Such a nice contrast to the square albums. But sadly, you lost me at band saw. I don't have one and it's unlikely I'll get one due to $$$. I still love your work, though!
Turned out super beautiful! Lazy guy's suggestion: The bottom piece corners could be rounded instead of squaring the routed frame corners. Looks kinda neat too.
It hasn’t yet and it’s fully loaded with records. You could probably add extra security with a few small screws in the bottom as well. I appreciate the feedback! Thanks for watching!
Great job! Neither too plain nor over embellished. A real heirloom piece for anyone. Any guess as to what a fair retail price on something like this may be in walnut? Just curious. Thanks!
Thanks, I really appreciate it! This is a tough question lol as a guy that just does this in my spare time I would probably just charge time and material (M=$40, T=4-5 hours @$25/hour?) which would be $140-$165. I think I would have a hard time selling it at that price though lol hence why I don't try. If I were running a business making these, I would have to charge close to $210 whole sale (to cover overhead and profit) and then retail would double that. The market for them at that point would be slim to none lol This is a question that has many different answers, but I guess that's where I'd start and tweak from there. Thanks!
Thank you! Yea I thought the walnut and brass combo turned out well. I used a Carter Accuright bandsaw blade, 1/2” 4tpi I believe. Seems like a decent blade so far! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment 😃

Thanks you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
Isn't the weight of the records going to bust that bottom out. Seems like it would. Love this design. Those brass rods are very cool.

I really like the design of this. Add some legs to this to make it free standing
Thanks! Yea, not a bad idea!
Beautifal!
Thank you!
Great job! Love the walnut / brass combo on the corners. Your bandsaw cuts were very accurate, which blade did you use?

I have to say nice box. I worry if you're using the miter saw safely though? I see others push saw from outer edge in!
This will destroy your records. The weght of the records will bend the last one.
