After the end of the credits of "Call me by your name" there is a few minutes of Timothee by himself, in front of a fireplace. All the emotions his character had played during the movie were to be seen in these last few minutes. Just that short time with us, showed me how good he is at his craft. All the love, the struggles, the good and the bad, the right and wrongs were there for us to see.
@@JEEHOYYAfter watching CMBYN, and sort of remembering what it was to be 17 years old, and how hollow my life was compared to this story, I ached inside, wishing I could be transported back and maybe, just maybe, experience some of the love Elio did.

As someone who struggled with meth and heroin for over a decade , I was a fan of Beautiful Boy . Read Nics books years before it came out . He did a great job in that role
Timothée could practically do all acting genres but most esp drama. His face, esp his eyes, could literally “ talk” to viewers - as what happened in that final scene in CMBYN! You can read the interplay of emotions in that scene.

I hope certain A-listers in Hollywood don’t corrupt him because right now he’s humble and kind. He’s incredibly talented but I fear the glamour of Hollywood will change him. I hope not.

I think Timothee Chalamet is perfect as Paul. I thought the casting of Zenaida as “Chani” was a mistake. She delivers a one note performance: angry, scowling, black girl. I also hate when a well loved book is “rewritten” to suit the current political temperature.

Leonardo Di Caprio of the new generation
