This was such a relatable video! I was a pre-teen and a teenager during the transition of casettes to CDs, and the VCRs to DVD players. Collecting newspaper articles, magazine cut-outs, report cards and those chits from school days would be one of the best things I did, as now I've sort of created a memory capsule where I can go back in time through stuff. Loved this video so much, Sherry! I had a smile plastered on my face throughout the video!
PS: You're not a hoarder, just a collector of memories (As I'd like to believe).
God this made my heart ache with nostalgia I am 35 so close to your age. I wish I had not thrown out as much as I did but space was an issue

Seventeen magazine was such a huge part of my teenage. I'm sure there are some copies still there in the storeroom at my parents' house. And I do remember you being regularly featured in it too.

greeting cards were big deal back then for frendship day, diwali, raksha bandhan ,etc. archies had a chain all over mumbai for these tinnie minnie things and soft toys. my mummy used to clean up all these saying kachro kem jama kare che :)
