Thank you (just kidding) Apple for a really badly designed device! I have been trying to remove the ear tips for hours, watching several videos, to no avail, even by pulling the ear tip very hard. Plus the case where the AirPods are stored has such a smooth surface that there is a high risk you drop it. First and last Apple product I buy first-hand! Disgusted!

You’re going to end up ripping the rubber ear piece. You see those tiny slits where the rubber locks in place. Here’s a crazy idea use your finger nails then pull.

You do it wrony. You pull it out taking a gum tip. There is a small gap, where you put your nail and then you pull it out.
