Thank god I came across this video before I broke the tips, I was trying so hard to force install them on the white frame, didn’t that was supposed to be removed 🤦🏽♂️. Watched two videos and nobody talked about that. Thank You

I am facing a problem from some days, that my airtip is not locking well in the airpods, whenever I put it in and wear the airpods and then take it off, the airtips stay inside my ear and the airpods comes out. So kindly tell me what to do

Question: Did your package come sealed or was it just open the flap to get the packaged AirPods inside? I just received two AirPod replacement tip boxes and they didn’t have the little pull strip that apple puts on most of their product packaging to “seal” it. I don’t think you had it in your video either, but I just wanted to know if you noticed too.
Cut off what? The replaceable ear tip? If so, yes you can. Check from 1:50 and you can see when I accidentally ripped mine so it was a tiny piece left.

And exactly the same way you explained it should be black and not white the same thing happened with me and i was like going insane in how to fix this and now i have successfully done that. Don’t fully know exactly what you mean. But the idea is the same. Make sure everything is removed from the old one and then attach the new :)
