  • Hey guys. For those that have been with the channel for a long time, I'm sure this video looks familiar. I decided to re-upload it because I honestly think that this (next to the Black Lives Matter video and the Trump video) is one if the most important videos that I ever produced.
    You all know how much I love Hip-Hop and how much I love to talk. So I decided to post this video up to tell you guys about the true origins of Hip-Hop just so you all can learn something today and get something real from my channel. It's not just about big booty bitches, money, drugs, and clothes. There is a very beautiful and artistic side of Hip-Hop culture that many people either neglect or do not know about. Today, I want to revitalize that side.
    I hope you guys enjoyed the video because I want to make more like this. Making you all laugh and have a good time is always my top priority, but I also want to keep you guys woke.

    It's sad to see that many people will never know the true meaning of hip hop. It's mainly because of what's coming out today that people are getting the wrong idea of hip hop. It's not about killing, bad bitches, or money. It's a creative art that needs to be recognized as such, but with today's hip hop, excluding the few that actually are good, no one will see that. Hip hop inspired so much that we see in the world today, crazy how no one will ever really see that.

      the main problem is the caucasian population believe they have a right to influence the CULTURE and speak for it over those that brought it to them. White culture doesn't own Hip-Hop, they just come along for the ride, that's what the analogy of them being guests in the house of Hip-Hop means. Your invited but don't come in with your design ideas thinking your gonna renovate and gentrify the whole look.

    • @Thomas_Leo
      @Thomas_Leo 4 роки тому +2

      @@WinstonMcGregor-hx8ub by that logic, Michael Jordan and all other non-whites are guests in basketball and other sports invented by whites. I don't believe in this exclusive philosophy but just pointing out the hypocrisy. You can't have it both ways.

      @WinstonMcGregor-hx8ub 4 роки тому

      @@Thomas_LeoIf your not gonna read anything at least go to the link (this only took me about 4 min to write), that explains briefly what happened with Hip-Hop, even before the HEAVY white influence, which is only a problem when you dismiss all or majority of black opinion. Your privileged mindset makes you believe that example was good because you sub-consciously think sports are white made and created.......
      That's not the same, Hip-Hop was NEVER racist and NEVER EVER said white people can't participate. I hope that's not the new argument you white kids are using cause it just makes you guys look stupid, with all due respect. I heard that example on another Hip-Hop content video.
      If you complain about the amount i wrote you should get out of Hip-Hop it's not for the simple those mentally lazy. I swear most of the hate for Hip-Hop are from white males especially, due to insecurity.............come on, think of all the girls not into black guys but into white guys if that helps. I didn't say anything ignorant if you can't see that you need calm down and think.
      This a perfect example of why people say white people don't konw or feel racism. Black people NEVER EVER said white people can't participate, and even when accepted AT FIRST, people of colour were still getting disrespected in the sport world or organization, w/e. I understand what your saying, but it's not the same.
      Put it this way, why is everyone o.k. with Rock and other genres being "white" but Hip-Hop can't be black? That, Ironically, is racist. Not wanting a group to climb in any positive way. Only way black people climb is if they're workers climbing under a boss or take on another groups or factions fight along with them cause who else is brave enough to fight CROOKED law, majority of the time. Just like BLM and LGBT, why they were always associated with each other who knows? (the wise do....)
      Im done with the whole race thing, people act like they don't acknowledge it but yet we still say asians are the smartest, well if your gauging by race......I wonder who's the dumbest? You may not be racist but your gov't and law is and using mental conditioning (look it up) to influnce others to be or think like them. Notice how Hip-Hop attempted to go gay out of no where?. Not just in america. It's shifting though, it's not gonna be about race, soon enough it's gonna shift to "cultural/political beliefs" mainly gay [not judging,but it's ignorant to claim humans are born gay before they even hit puberty.] and perverts via incest and beastiality. There's a faction out there trying to make pedophilia legal, research it.
      Another plan for the N.W.O is to kill the idea of GOD. Which is the opposite of what Hip-Hop CULTURE is about, simply bringing people to the idea and understanding of God *TOGETHER*. I honestly think it's the most righteous CULTURE/IDEOLOGY out there, and racist, perverted bigots are trying to take it due to the influence it possess to start this N.W.O which is, (a better word for) a coincidence. So many think Hip-Hop is evil and bad yet the ones pushing the idea are the false prophets, wanting to change the culture like they did all our other shit (research, who started science, astrology etc., If you can find it). Only problem you can't fake the real. You can copy all you want, but you know who YOU truly are and truth can never fade away. That's why there's righteous gangbangers like Nipsey and crooked lawbringers like Nixon and crooked cops.
      ua-cam.com/video/MYf5FXyoa-A/v-deo.html
      I used this link for someone asking me what Hip-Hop culture is (it's a song don't worry). Im not wasting time on a possible troll so i gave him this to reference. Someone You should know if you truly respect Hip-Hop.
      Ironically 2020 (vision) may be the year man truly wakes up to this bullshit. I always said one day our kids are gonna look back at this division and classifying of race and culture like we do with slavery. It's gonna seem unnecessary soon. Just like kids growing out of their immaturity, the age of man is growing and soon we'll see Race, nations, cultures are all just one big RIGHTEOUS Belief. Hip-Hop started or carried on that belief, look up the infinite lessons. Actually heres' a better example of hypocrisy, how many people who flocked to nipsey hussles store, even the ones who flew in from over seas, ironically look down on gangbangers themselves? That kind of hypocrisy is killing Hip-Hop. If you can't see the hypocrisy...............

    This video was really helpful. As someone who mostly listens to rock music and heavy metal, I used to hate hip-hop. I thought that it was repetitive and didn't take much talent, but as time went on, I become more musically open minded and started to expand my horizons with genres like R&B. With rap, I started to test the waters with artists like 2Pac and Public Enemy and found myself enjoying them and respecting the genre a lot more. What this video made me realize was not just that hip-hop is a lot more older than I thought, but that it's true meaning was more peaceful, where today the negative aspects are more romanticized. If I had any criticism for hip-hop, it would be that I find a lot of rap music to kind of blend in together. But then again, a lot of people say the same thing about black metal. I'm sure it's just a matter of me getting used to it's sound and developing my taste.

    It is almost impossible to fathom the greatness of what I just viewed. Also, I totally lost it at 3:38 lol
    One note: There are many different theories about where the term "Hip Hop" came from. The dominant one is that Grandmaster Flash and the Three MC's (there were only three back then) were throwing a party for their friend Billy who was joining the military. The poked fun at this a bit, rapping "Left, Right, Left, Right, Hip, Hop, Don't Stop, Billy!" From that day on, people referred to the party as Billy's Hip Hop Jam, and the phrase "Hip Hop" stuck.

So I though I won't tuck in the shirt and I'll bring the pants down a tiny bit to avoid "creases" , and I won't tie my runners so tight and my shoes ...I'll have to buy a half size larger . I had no solution for my one of a kind amazing alligator purse - lucky somebody stole it at Super Fitness .

    Hip hop been around since the 40s its really hard to really find where it all started

    • @TheBlackMastadonte
      @TheBlackMastadonte  4 роки тому +2

      While some of Hip-Hop's inspirations came from music in the 40s (hell, Hip-Hop dates back to the way ancient Africans told stories) the actual conception and sound of Hip-Hop didn't come till the late 70s into the 80s.

    I love hip hop music about being the best at what you do such as songs like remember the name, and artists like Godmode, and hip hop artists like Macklemore who make music about being content with what you have.

    • @thedarkphoenix08
      @thedarkphoenix08 Рік тому

      Macklemore is pop rap. Not hip hop. But it’s cool you enjoy the genre.

    Is D j cool hurk a part of hip hop yes, but did he creat hip hop no. But he did create brackdancing. Let not forget about America pioneers Afrikee bambatta who coin the elements and so on. Black people African American and Jamaican together started hip hop the first hip hop dancers were African Americans. Latinos are credit for keeping hip hop live not starting it. You had Dj cool hurk, the nigga twins, Afrikee Bambotta, chuck Dee, kurtis blow, funk master flex, Charlie Rock ‘and many more.
