Poppy becoming a future avl agent would be really interesting! After having recently watched the fourth movie in theaters, poppy has become my new favorite character! I think it would be really cool to see a spin-off of her doing a little bit of villainy. The spin-off would be called despicable poppy. And maybe after that, they can actually make her a junior avl member, once again, working alongside her inspiration: gru. SAME WITH GRU'S GIRLS! Not only are they the daughters of 2 AVL agents, but edith and agnes take karate classes, which is basically early practice for them becoming AVL agents in the future.
What I would hopefully like to see in DM5 is Agnes’s backstory of how GRU comforted her when she had a bad dream about being alone at the time when Margo and Edith were sleeping over with their friends.

Had a dream where the villain for Despicable Me 5 is a kitsune named Aster (voiced by Bob Odenkirk) who plans to demolish the town Gru lives in. Aster reverts Scarlet Overkill to her prime and killed her in one shot because he is just that ridiculous. For Gru and Lucy to fight Aster, they teamed up with Vector along with many other villains just to take down an angry fox.
I dont think there will be a new movie because at the end of the movie they brought together all the character, movies only do that when its the last movie. At the end of the movie they also used a song that means "nothing lasts forever" showing this might be they're last movie.
While it would be great to see the girls grow up and join the avl I don't think it's going to happen since the people behind the DM franchise said the characters are frozen in time so yeah I don't think that's going to happen.
Iit would be cool if maybe the meg minions redeem themselves and apeer more because they didn't alot In the 4rth movie. Also it would be cool if the minions encout3r scarlet with the mega minions.
Nah it would be possible. Even if minion movie continues I think It’s impossible to replace gru with the children and making gru Lucy and the others like old characetrs
