spottable I’ve had the car about 6 month I paid £2k but mine is the b6 shape and had 66700miles and it’s the 3.0 petrol Quattro and all Quattro a4’s have a fully automatic not the cheap cvt gearboxes that Are very problematic
yes i do, there was a spell where i didn't and i wanted to get out of the car job, but its all i know. Then You Tube came out and now its dead easy to sell cars (but very hard to make money :-)
Barrie, I got a question for you, these strange rattle noises which appeared from 13:00 what is it ? is the roof rattling or just camera equipement due to bad road?
Yupa 26 yep the camera is mounted on the seat headrest post, so any vibrations are transmitted right through the chassis and then through the camera mount, also with older rag top convertibles there is quite a bit of scuttle shake which adds to the noise, however the recording equipment amplifies the noise and you dont really notice it when you are in the car
oh okay ;) thank you for your answer and maybe next question, if you would compare A4 b7 sedan/avant to a4 b7 cabrio in terms of road noise and wind noise is it that big difference which may bother driver on longer trips on the highways in higher speeds ?

the hard top is quieter definitely and a better ride over bumpy roads, but there is no substitute for being able to drop the hood on a nice day
