    My 1st AC/DC gig. Caught a Coach up from Wales, Ears were ringing for days and my neck ached from incessant headbanging.Great show

    Must’ve been one of the last gigs done just before Malcolm went to rehab. Such a shame the show’s incomplete…

    The 80's thru Razors Edge the guitars were really heavy and dirty (maybe because metal was big at this time?) They were even using Mesa Boogie on TRE tour. If you notice once Ballbreaker came out, the amps sounded a lot cleaner with less of a distorted overdrive sound. It's really apparent comparing No Bull to Donnington. I personally prefer the sound of the distorted overdrive more. Angus absolutely shreds in a lot of these 80's recordings. 25-35 he was on top of his game.

    There at 15 years old with my mates, and again with my dad in 1991 Razor's Edge and again with Father in law 2000 for Stiff Upper Lip Tour. Seen Phil, Simon and Chris and prefer them in that order.

    Thank you for posting this. I was there that night, my first time seeing DC. It was all seated but we were in the 6th or 7th row on Cliffs' side. Can't believe it was 34 years ago there on Wednesday. ❤

    Remarkable quality. Much better than most soundboards as there's some ambience mixed in so it sounds like a proper live album (from the crowd's angle), not dry from the board. Any idea where the rest of it might reside?

    You can definitely tell Phil Rudd is not on the drums, too bad he wasn't there thru this period, Chris did a much better job than Simon , IMO

      I thought Simon did great, I thought he was much closer closer Phil's style than Slade was but all of them are great

    Simon Did Great Job So To All Those Who Dont Like Him I Say You Get Up There And Try Doing Better ,,You Know You Would Never Get Through The Audition Simon Had It All ,Why Do You Think Malcolm Hired him it Was Malcolm's Call Simon Left on his Own Accord

    • @fearthebeard722
      @fearthebeard722 2 роки тому +2

      Agreed, Simon did a great job, loved his style of playing. Far better than the robotic Chris Slade, terrible drummer! And yes, he left of his own accord, to join Dio.

      @BeAGoodDoga Рік тому +1

      You have got to be joking. Simon messed with many the arrangements, making them far too awkward to listen to. As talented as he really is, he’s no Phil Rudd.
