How to Create Digital Signatures in Word - Quick and Easy Tutorial - Transparent Background

- HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN DIGITAL SIGNATURE PLUS A QUICK LOOK AT DIGITAL SIGNATURE SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS // Create your own signature in an electronic format very quickly and easily using a pen, paper, your mobile phone, your email, a snipping tool, onlinepngtools (png transparency creator) and that is it! Super quick, easy, and simple to do. You don’t need photoshop, a scanner, or anything fancy. This tutorial will show you how to capture your very own signature as a digital file in a transparent .png file format that you can easily use over and over again on letter templates, invoices, cover sheets, or absolutely any type of online document that you want to place your professional digital signature. We also take a look at some digital signature software options to consider if you need to capture electronic signatures on forms, letters and documents, legally.

Just an FYI this is not a digital signature. Digital signatures are encrypted verification codes with your digital "fingerprint". This video shows how to make an e-signature or a signature annotation. Someone could just copy this image, paste it and pretend it's your signature. With a true digital signature, no one can copy it.

Great tutorial Sharon! However, I'm not sure I recommend sharing your formal signatures online. There's another way to do this natively in word: 1) Go ahead and insert the picture of your signature 2) double click on the picture to open "format text effects" pane 3) select the "fourth" right-most tab 4) select "picture transparency" from the drop-down list 5) adjust as needed. Hope this helps!
