He doesn’t just narrate it, we see him in camera picking the hats exactly where Abed and Troy threw them. Dan could have just have had him pick them randomly from the ground.
COMMUNITY IS SO DAMN UNDERRATED LIKE BRUH THIS SHOW IS SO FUN TO WATCH IM GLAD NETFLIX FINALLY GOT THIS SHOW IN THEIR POCKETS AND HOPEFULLY SOON ENOUGH IT WILL GET THE RECOGNITION THAT IT DESERVES
FYI, Netflix took removed the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons episode because of "Black Face" racial bs so Netflix doesn't deserve that much raise, and I wouldn't trust them with the movie with all the SJW BS
Nguyen Anh Tu that was so fucking stupid cuz first of all it’s not even mocking black people, Chang’s character is a god damn elf, people r so fragile these days, this is promoting equality this is promoting stupidity
Yep, and it was done because they were over budget and had to fill time with the still photos and graphics. What amazing things come when there are such great restrictions!
Elroy Patashnik is narrating. As a faculty member who wasn't party to the Pillow Wars, he could be counted on to provide an unbiased perspective. Plus since neither Troy nor Abed were white, he wouldn't feel the need to interject needlessly encouragement or validation.
I will never fathom how this series went under the radar for so many people...It was second to none.
it was streets ahead
@@michaelsieger9133 Of course XD
The little tangent at the end of the last episode pretty much sums up why. Though losing cast members and moving over to Yahoo didn't help.
Jesus wept
No surprises there , similar thing happened to arrested development.
Now this is a man who knows how to narrate a community college pillow war!
Underrated comment
Hey, weren't you in "The Cape"?
Now this is a man who knows references!

Just noticed the couch cushions in the Dean's office are missing! That's great
Details like these are what makes this show great
Holy shit. Thanks.
Now you're forcing me to look for them in the whole episode.
I love how while everyone is freaking out Jeffrey it's just in the back filming everything lmao
and before it cuts to jeff filming, the camera is on Dean yelling “Jeffrey” which it makes it even funnier
@@rene588 To be more specific: 'Jeffrey, find me! JEFFREYYYYYYYY!' said the dean in danger :(
Starburns started the war. Never forget.
his name is alex

He STAR-ted the war
@@stinkfist1300 maybe he should carve this name into his hair instead
That's a pretty extreme exaggeration. I think it's more appropriate to say that John Goodman started the greatest war in history.
They actually got Keith David, voice-over artist extraordinaire to narrate the show. That's just perfect.
Not just for voiceover, in season 6 he became one of the main cast. His character was great.

Please the dean saying “Jeffery find me” 😭😭😭
1:58 the scream of Dean is breathtaking hahahahaha so iconic.
Like a little girl
I always thought the shriek was from Troy 😂
The narrator is voiced by Keith David, the actor who played Elroy.
Thanks, Shepard.
Anderson out.
He also played Keith David in saint row franchise
He also has the greatest fight scene in history with Roddy Piper.
And also voiced Sergeant Foley in Modern Warfare 2.

When Jeff goes back to pick up the friendship hats, he remembers where Abed and Troy each threw their hats
I wish they wrote Jeff to be in more of their shenanigans.
For purpose of conceptual symmetry always gets me
Best joke in this episode
"Jeffrey, find me! Jeffrey!"
And he's filming with Britta
So good X D
I lose it everytime at that part
He is gyro gearloose?
I'd have aced my history exam if this had been the syllabus.
Later when Jeff goes back to the deans office, he picks up the hats where they threw them... amazing attention to detail
Jeff specifically narrates what he is doing there. It's a plot point, not a detail. No cushions on the Dean's sofa is a detail.
He doesn’t just narrate it, we see him in camera picking the hats exactly where Abed and Troy threw them. Dan could have just have had him pick them randomly from the ground.
@@ulyssesocounter8488 no that’s a reach it is not attention to detail. It’s literally part of the story
@@snubcode7121 It’s attention to detail, as it is by definition a detail
@@DeathnoteBB This argument is adorable.
Many an oldtimer still speaks of where they were during the pillow wars and how it turned brother against brother. War, truly, is hell.

So many lives were lost.

Yep, and it was done because they were over budget and had to fill time with the still photos and graphics. What amazing things come when there are such great restrictions!
I love the detail that the couch in the dean's office has no cushions
The way this is documented is hilarious!!
The Dean: "Jeffrey, find me!"
Jeffrey *recording on his phone*
😂
2:09 "You saw that, they knocked it down."
They saw an opportunity and they went for it.
To be fair, John Goodman's character, Laybourne, was the Palpatine of the Pillow Fight War by instigating both sides of the conflict.
