The Nashville Street circuit looks interesting, but also I see very few overtaking opportunities. Would be cool to see Indy back at the oval.

My grandparents live about 5 miles from the speedway. I remember this race only because you could hear the Indycar engines roaring from the track. Sounded like it was in your back yard. Good times

@@easleyrider It's tentatively set to host a Nascar race next July according to Adam Stern last night.
I went to every Nashville race and had a blast. A lot of people have cursed NSS but I think it produced great races. I do wish it was an asphalt track. I hope they bring it back. The Nashville people supported IndyCar to the max. While the grandstands held only around 35,000, they were always full. More than oval races are getting today. Fortunately but sadly I saw / drivers who were killed racing; Justin Wilson and Dan Wheldon, and I met Dan. Continue to RIP boys.

The season where we had 11 ovals. And in 2019 we now have 5 ovals. I think IndyCar should add more ovals to the schedule. That would really make the series even more exciting now!
too bad no one came, the series and the tracks make no money if no one shows up.
Plus the death of Dan Wheldon doesn't help
Rest In Peace Nashville SuperSpeedway. A future home to an industrial park. What a phenomenal racing facility. Too bad it wasn't an asphalt oval. Maybe the racing would be ten times better for the open wheel cars.
Maybe but that's what made it unique: this track rewarded finesse, consistency, negotiating traffic as well as possible. Had there been more of this kind on the schedule it would have been a bad thing given it's so hard to pass, but since it was the only track with those characteristics it was definitely a race to enjoy. For those who wanted to see wheel-to-wheel action there were plenty of 1.5 milers which provided that, I thought it was a good thing to have one track so different and requiring a different skill set.
I'll be there next year for Cup Series!
The facility is slated to host a NASCAR Cup race on June 20, 2021

It would be great to have IndyCar permanently running in both, Nashville Superspeedway and Streets of Nashville every year in the future (after 2025)

The race was 11 years ago. It's not like it's a brand new movie release...many if not most fans already know who won...
Since I can't have another oval race here, we need to bring back Kentucky. 2011 and 2009 were amazing races. I know it's a cookie-cutter track, but I think a decent bit of us miss it.

Greg Murphy - multiple Bathurst winner .Jim Richards multiple Bathurst winner,.Brendon Hartley - LeMans winner & WEC ,FIA, World Endurance Championship.] ,Rod Millen multiple Pikes Peak winner &.Steve Millen.; Scott Dixon has not got a raz a mataz personality , but is the quite achiever & leaves his talking on the track.[ice man] But as time goes on and history will reflect,that he is a Legend, and one of the best of Indy car champions.!!! 5 x times sofar & still counting..lol .

We need a indycar game
IndyCar needs a regular audience of about 2 million before a studio risks making an Indy game. Project CARS 2 though has Indy, Indy GP, Texas, Long Beach, Road America, Sonoma, and Watkins Glen. 7 (now 6) of the current tracks are on there along with the IndyCar car in both road course and speedway trims.

The only thing if you hope IndyCar had a game is to wish codemasters to create a "Formula" game which covers F1, F2, F3, Indycar, FE, go karts, etc

Rant ON: Only on the official NTT INDYCAR SERIES do they spoil the old races by putting a picture of the winning car. ALWAYS!. Why, Ever think we forgot who won and didn't want it spoiled. Even after watching the first lap..... you may remember the race, but you would think they would stop spoiling it. RANT OFF
And can you tell me why they don't race more on this oval? It's incredible what they do, they have this wonderful oval and they don't use it.
This oval should be part of the calendar, no matter what, along with Pocono and Texas, which should return to the calendar. IndyCar urgently needs more high-speed ovals.
