Love the concept of this hotel, but I’m not so sure about the execution. There’s just something about the fact that it’s digitally run combined with the fact that there’s almost no artwork or anything on the walls that just makes it feel unnerving in its simplicity. It’s not a bad price, though.
6:00 This view reminds me of the movie "Perfect Days". This German-Japanese art film is about a Tokyo toilet cleaner (played by Koji Yakusho, 役所広司) who lives in a little house similar to the one you saw from the window. Even the beige car parked there is similar to the one the guy uses for work (but his car was blue). What's more, our hero's young co-worker is obsessed with rating everything on a scale of ten. 😉 (The film is about finding happiness in simplicity and I recommend it to all of you!) If I add this film experience to the visuals, I would give it 8/10, just like the movie. 🙂
