This is a fun pedal, just as awesome as the first version but with some added mid-boost flair! Ooh I should try it with my SLO. The original LCFR was one of the few pedals I actually liked with it. Believe it or not I’m selling my SLO. So my time with it is limited. I might regret it and get another in the future but for now it’s going to move along.
There is totally a difference between one and two. I tend to LOVE really hot mids personally, love the snarl of that mod knob all the way up on the 2nd coming.
This pedal, just like the 1st version would have been perfect if they just added a gate. They have so much gain on tap that you really can’t go full on or really past 1 and I don’t mean 1 o clock on the gain. Maybe on the 3rd coming a gate will be added. Kind of like KFK Marshall head. It’s a beast and with the added gate you can use its gain to the max. I own one .
Scott - I have the Paranormal 2 and JSL pedals (know JSL is more of an amp in a box). I play classic metal/hard rock, would LCFR 2 help my sound any versus what I have for that music or unnecessary overkill? Happy New Years!
Happy new year man. The LCFR is a very different beast compared to the JSL and Paranormal 2. As a boost you might have some similarities between the Para and the LCFR but the LCFR has a lot more grit and gain and can be used as a full out distortion. So depends on what you’re looking to do, if just boosting the Para and LCFR are both great and a little different and you might end up just favouring one over the other, probably don’t need both. That said I have both and love them both haha

Great demo, thanks for including that 9v and 18v comparison. Always wondered about that
Cheers!
Sick demo song in the opening
Thanks man!
I recommend the LCFR II with the SLO100. I love the mids knob. It's everything the LCFR was missing.

I think that a shootout between the lcfr and the Airis effects parallel overdrive would be interesting.

In person, do you have a preference of the 2 of them? A little bit of a better price on the used Market

👍🏽 💪🏽 🎊🎉
I didn’t get chocolate with mine 😢
Don't worry, it won't affect the tone of your pedal ;)
