That d5 tip paid off HUGELY for me at the park yesterday! I was hesitant to play it having a pawn on e4 (which to me felt weakening). It became the tip of a pawn chain AND an outpost for one of my knights. This knight seemingly "didn't do much" for the rest of the game but it shut my opponent down big time. Thank you!

I'm a bit confused since last time we saw the London (previous video at about 1:00:57) Aman said playing Qb6 didn't make sense after Nd2. And that's exactly what he does in this game "uncorking a tactic".
I am pretty decent in tactics, around 2400 in puzzles but I barely know any openings and don't have a strong positional feeling, after watching part 17 on how to deal with the kingsgambit I played against it and followed through your instructions, ez win
It never hurts to build your knowledge based on principles, even if you break them later as you advance. At 1600 rapid, my blitz falls far behind and I think sometimes I should take this mindset more. Aman offers a very sound way to make progress in most positions. They're not always this simple and yet, by following these guidelines...they often are!

Your KQ technique may be more solid, but as you have a lady and he doesn’t, it’s important to flex as much as possible in these situations. A little extra time and you can always get either the symmetry of the diagonal kiss of death, or a back rank mate. We play waiting moves because alphas are in no hurry.
Guys, what's wrong with taking pawn on f7 at 4:40 before re-capturing the queen? It also feels like following more with "active, not reactive". I'm a 1200 noob so it's a genuine question.

You’re doing gr8 then! Hopefully as this series continues so will your rating climb. It’s already taking more work, like memorizing specific responses to specific openings, but I’d imagine that - like with lots of other things - the better you get the slower your progress is likely to be. I mean, if I’m running an 8min mile maybe in a month or two I can hit 7min, but when I’m at let’s say 5min getting down to 4 might not be in the cards.

I think for me, it's a matter of remembering to not be put into uncomfortable positions and preparing for pins rather than having to react to their tempo. Gotta get back to it!

not forking coz of Nc4 just a traid basicly and we kinda park our d pawn weird.

Aman was playing a premove there - the opponent played Re1, and *then* the premove happened and he checked the opponent with the bishop.
