Visited my Mum today (90, Alzheimer's) at her nursing home in Sydney, Australia. I played this to her. She and her friend knew every word and sang along heartily. Thank you, you wonderful ladies 💚💚💚

I really like this style of music. But there are tons of music before ww1 to the 1950s. From all kinds of artists. Patty Page, Doris Day, Andrew Sisters. D-Day Darlings could do covers and clothes for those years.
If you are lucky you will be an old fart one day. Do not begrudge older generations, who had a harder life than you, their memories, of a war, which was supposed to give you a better life than they had

My parents were in their teens during WWII. Many of these songs, especially Vera Lynn's, were among those they'd sing to us kids.
Being born in 1946, I was also brought up with those songs - Thanks for listening .
