4:30 I have watched a lot of Ecuador related videos from various UA-camrs, and this might be the nicest beach I have seen so far. How would you guys rate this beach ?
It is a very beautiful beach! We hit it on the right day as well. We found it would be hard to swim in because of the undertow, but it is beautiful nonetheless. 6.5/10

One of my favorite vids was when you posted one where you guys were just lounging around and showed us how you make coffee in the morning, sitting on the patio, etc. It felt so real and like we were right there with yall. I like your content on this video. Info and adventure is a good mix. Can you tell me/others what you did toward research prior to arriving in EC? Also, do you intend on getting any type or residency visa - i.e. do you plan to stay longer than 6 months?
Great questions! So we’re only staying for 6 months, so we didn’t go through the residency process. We have heard that you can do that quite easily from Ecuador though! As far as research went, we did research Ecuador in comparison to other South American countries. It had the following: easy currency conversion, extremely diverse (landscapes, microclimates, and types of cities/towns), and we were able to see ourselves here long term if we got stuck due to the global situation. However, we would have never been able to research everything. In our opinion, the best type of research is first-hand experience. If you’re not sure about Ecuador, come check it out for a couple of weeks! Then you can know a bit more about day-to-day living / cost of things. Hope this helps!
That's so great! We actually just get around by using taxis or buses. The buses from city to city are quite easy to navigate! Have fun on your exploratory trip!
2 months already? WoW! Question, how about vaccines? Did you get any prior to take off? I so want to visit and possibly move there, but the different viruses that are deadly concern me.
Crazy eh? Time flies by when having fun :) We were up-to-date on most of our vaccines from previous international travel, so the only one we got specifically for Ecuador was yellow fever for the Amazon. If you go to a travel doctor, they can tell you exactly what you need :)
In Ecuador is mandatory using masks outdoors-indoors yet , you might feel safer here , unlike U.S. , half of Ecuadorian population have it s first vaccine ... All the Best
I want to start an escolater company in Ecuador for old farts like me. I greatly admire and envy you starting this grand adventure at your age, I wish I had. But then again I would not have met my Beautiful wife Hilda(from Ecuador) and thus would have never gone there to experiance it´s wonders!
