That 6 month old baby was me and my dad I'm 23 years old now :P
Wow!! you can brag about being on MTV as a baby ;D and being on your first punk concert as a 6 m. o. and having a painter dad :D how's the family doing atm?
David is a national treasure.
This show was super alternative at the time. Not only did the episode have that Siouxsie song in there but Cocteau Twins "Iceblink Luck" in between guests!
CHECKER PHIL?!?! FANCY SEEING YOU HERE
I had the biggest crush on that announcer
Me too! lol
Haha I watched this show religiously in 1997. 😂
I was on that show I was the Gothic belly dancer
Where's videos
Melissa is sooo beautiful
Melissa is such a cutie
Gotta love this show. Cautionary advisories about everything except using your six month old baby as a circus prop.
MTV sucked the life outta this show.....like they did with everything.....
More of this in 2022 please.
Why can't MTV be awesome again?
David all day.
Blink 182? Wonder what ever happened to them.
Downloaded damnit in .wav form on a bbs that year.
The host is Elvis Costello meets Adam Carolla
With the voice of Frank Oz (as Bert).
this show is bizarre but awesome.
They silenced the licenced music for the dancing divas. I'm very sad but I get it.
This was the greatest television program of all time.
Oh snap! The Double Dutch Diva gals were a "mature" group!!! 🥰
WHAT A GREAT EPISODE
😟 Kathy Griffin , really ? 😕 . . .
Back when she was cool.
Melissa is what (wet) dreams are made of
I enjoyed watching this show when I had the chance. In my opinion it was one of the last MTV shows before they went down the drain and in a different direction. This was perfectly named and Oddville was interesting, diverse and so wonderfully offbeat. I saw a mention of it being like Joe Franklin meets Uncle Floyd and that nailed it. I applaud all the folks who came on and did their thing. I'm trying to find episode 54 that I missed with Mighty Mike Lane. The late Mike Lane was a disc jockey on upstate NY radio station WENT 1340 AM. MTV will never rise from the ashes as the society today is toast with technology and horrid music taking over.

Just incredible seeing Blink 182 in the early years. This was a unique talkshow and bring back so many fond memories of being a teen in that Era ❤
Holy fuck is this same Stan-less Steel that Young James Norton knew as a tween?
Is David supposed to be a rip off of Ron Mael?
what an odd show
Tony is the man!!! Love it
Everyone would’ve forgotten this show if it wasn’t for Melissa
She was completely unnecessary, and had no real function other than to appeal to neurotypical idiots. The suits at MTV did that because they couldn’t take the show exactly as it was.
No coppa.

what is up with that guy??
He's a prop
I always wondered who he was but it was always a great show
Kathy is a dream
