- This week come and hike 160km with us to the very end of the trail in the Afghan Wakhan Corridor.
We visit the remote settlements of the Kyrgyz Nomadic people that have held to their ancient traditions and way of living.
This journey was one of the toughest expeditions we have ever undertaken, both mentally and physically.

What a beautiful country😍 know many Afghans here in Germany and they are so lovely gentle people some of them look even like europeans. Love their Food especially Kabuli Palaw and Mantu !!

Ich war tatsächlich bereits einmal dort gewesen ! Meine Hilfsorganisation ist dort etabliert. Ich war einfach überwältigt von der Schönheit dieses Landes, deren Gastfreundlichkeit und dem so vielfältigen und leckerem Essen.
Aber auch hier die Afghanen in Deutschland alle so hochgebildet. Ich denke irgendwie ist es schon Standard, dass sie alle Ärzte und Ingenieure sind. Da sollten wir uns wirklich eine Scheibe von abschlagen. Ich als Deutsche bin nicht mal halb so gebildet wie all die Afghanen die ich kenne. Wirklich Respekt !
Was mich stört sind die ausländischen Mächte, die seit Jahren dort stationiert sind und Krieg stiften obwohl sie es Frieden nennen und deren Bodenschätze schon fast vollständig ausgeraubt haben!! Das wird wahrscheinlich noch lange so weiter gehen bis sie alles vollständig mitgenommen haben was ihnen nicht gehört ! Wünsche den Leuten dort einfach nur Glück !

Must be one of the most beautiful regions of the world, easily. So remote, so untouched, and those people who still do their traditional nomadic way of life, just amazing. Nice that you show the world another side of a country which only gets a bad reputation in the media, unfortunately. Important to show how much beauty and hospitality there is in these countries. More people need to see this. And my prayers for peace and prosperity for the Afghan people and the whole country, and that it will be a place which beauty more people will be able to go and see with their own eyes in the future.

I've been to Afghanistan let me tell you that is the most Beautiful Place I never been too and lovely polite people very welcoming and always Smiling when they see you never they look at you in a different way. Thet would protect you while putting themselves in Danger because they Believe and I that when a guest comes to your House it was send By God or Allah so it's your duty to serve them in very possible way even if it require to give up your life to save theirs.

My days of backpacking are far behind me now. You remind me of my wife and I when we were together the first 5 years or so. We would backpack for days and weeks at a time. Mainly the back country of North America. The Sierra Nevada’s, the rockies Etc.

Now I have just watched this video and the prior one: truly amazing - a whole new level of adventure travel that was filmed and narrated very well.
