Please check your facts as someone might mistake it for truth 👍

Me trying to get algae to grow that well in my tank. It had been a month and half and barely any algae has grown. Mainly brown but just stayed with some green so I'm exited. Prepping for otos. Maybe I need to dose more fertilizer since I have a planted tank.

Tank took longer to cycle even though I had established media because my Anubias had root rot and it caused kH to disappear and pH to drop heavily stalling cycle at the start. Got rid of it, and within a day poof tank was cycled. Crushed coral helped stabilize everything too in filter media bag, and removed it and no longer need it since whatever was causing the kH and pH issues are gone.

I have a fish tank and I use a magnet so you put the sponge inside and put the magnet on the outside so you hold the magnet and the magnet in the sponge connects so you can clean the inside(it won’t harm the fish or scratch the screen)
One of the best solution is to have under gravel filter. Ensure aquarium is not kept near window becuase direct sunlight causes algae. You will find grea improvement and will not expe algae grown as seen.
I haven’t had to either. I’ve hit a very good balance between moderate algae growth that is just enough for my snails and seed shrimp to clean my betta tank. Now it does require more water changes just, but that’s about it. Glass scrubbing is rarely needed.
We have these Algae pellets that I had for my plecostomus. But with my luck we got him the pellets a week before he died. So the pellets have been sitting in a bucket for a year or so. But after watching this video I decided to cut one in half and drop it in my fish tank to see what my 2 picky fish thought of it. Char (black and orange Molly,) loves them now and is suddenly excited when I open the tank at mealtime… white her much older tank-mate, Topaz (the ancient, and very lonely blue glow fish,) isn’t a fan.
i guess that’s a lie bc i do water change my 5g at least once a month, it’s not rly the same tho the bigger tanks are easier and i do intermittent cleaning tasks and add water etc.
If you don’t want to scrape down the walls as much you can get a plecostomus They are fish swim around the tank And they eat all the algae they don’t need any other food and they are very low maintenance

Dose fertilizer and cycle equally. The cycle adds some bacterias, but don't add too much if you have shrimps, barbs or plecs

When I had feeder guppies & Endlers in my 55 gallon aquarium, I would clean both sides & front only. The back was kept in algae for the fish.
