Thank you for all your hard work and training. As an hvac tech that take pride on my work and never do short cut, I learn every time something from your videos. God bless you 🙏and keep up great work.
I like that the hoses have female connectors on each end. I bought a Mastercool that has female on one end and male on the quick connect side. Stiff as a board when connecting to automotive fittings that are at an angle!
Good instructive video sir, nothing like a good refresher course, thanks👍🏽👍🏽
Thanks a lot Juan!
I am a Traniee from Jamaica. I really love Air Condition and Refrigeration thanks sir.
Awesome, this trade has always treated me well! Thanks for letting me know Jevon!
Very helpful video. Thanks!
Clear explanation Thank you!
Super helpful! Thank you!
Excellent video!
Thank you very much!

Good video boss man
Excelente informacion !!👏👏
Thanks a lot Sergio!
Thank you for all your information really helpful. Will be buy in your book soon..
Awesome, thanks for letting me know Gilbert!
Thanks for the video =)
Hey love your book and cards I been wondering what you think about using probes on difficult types of refrigerant should I clean them with Alcohol or just don’t do it
Very good
Thanks
when connecting 【Angled Ball Valve】45 degree angle Manual Shut-off Valve fitting to the hose, should i be removing the "depressor" and gasket of the hose since there is already one at the end where the ball valve fitting connects to schrader valve?
You are an exelent teacher after years in the business I am finely getting it right
Awesome, thank you very much for letting me know!
My old 134a hose connectors won't fit on my 2018 Colorado A/C service ports. Did GM change their fittings.... Oh, nevermind. I see it now has R1234yf instead of
R134a--$35 for 8 oz can.
I was thinking can u just use a manual low loss fitting with 2 Shrader valve removal tools, instead of using 3 to keep your micron gauge clean ??
Are most ports 1/4" in size? The manual of my Lennox says 5/8" of an inch. Thanks
7:10 WHERE CAN I GET THAT????
I can't seem to find a link in the video description.
I've searched and searched and I cant seem to find a chart to show refrigerant port thread and size. Does anybody know where to find this?
Can you please explain why when we have dirty evaporator the subcooling will be high and dirty condenser gives low superheat
If you have a dirty evap coil with a txv, subcooling will be higher but with a fixed orifice subcooling will be lower. A fixed orifice won't limit the superheat so you have more saturated refrigerant in the coil, therefore there is less in the outdoor unit to subcool. Thats why the subcooling is less with a fixed orifice. For a txv the amount of refrigerant needed to keep the superheat steady is less than normal due to the low heat load so there is more refrigerant in the outdoor unit, therefore more subcooling. Great question!
@@acservicetechchannel thank you Sir for your response God bless you and bless your work
Hello. Which valve core depressor tool or any low loss do you recommend for 410a?
These O rings are blowing like crazy!
I have the yellow jacket and JB brand (JB last longer but can't find replacement O rings).
I also have a twist style C&D (CD2060) which I attempted to use today and it was leaking right after what (cant think of exact name) screws onto the service port of the system.
Thanks in advance.
I know its old but I use appion for my valve core remover. I dont know many others that can handle 410a like it does.
@@HelloThere-jr6gd I was referring to low loss fittings. I use appion and hilmor for core remover
why do you only want automatic low loss fittings on the high side? Thanks for your videos, very helpful, will purchase your book
Because you lose the most refrigerant from the liquid line when disconnecting using no fittings . You can use low loss fittings or ball valve shut offs on both high side and low side .Which ever you prefer.
I need the whole combo of fittings ,how can i order?
I have them all linked in the description section of this video individually and at www.amazon.com/shop/acservicetech thanks!
Can you pull a vacuum on a system with low loss fittings?
I would not do that due to leaking the vacuum through them or obstructing the vacuum, thanks!
In the manual for the MINI SPLIT I want it says to run the vaccum for 25 minutes. I don't understand how you can do that without the vacuum ending up too strong -ie the max vacuum power of the vacuum?.. The electric vac I'm looking at says it goes to "5Pa". I'm guessing that is way more than the -0.1MPa the manual says to do it to.
This is so confusing... 5 Pascals = 0.000005 Mega Pascals (which I assume MPa refers to).
-0.1 MPa = -100000 Pascals. I don't even know if higher numbers mean more or less vacuum any more.
Where do I buy the valve core depressor tool?
Links for the tools are posted at www.acservicetech.com/tools thanks!
I bought an e-book and it disappears from the ADE. What I need to do to getting it back?
Please email us at info@acservicetech.com with your order number, name and the email you used when purchasing and we can take care of that, thanks!
I didn't see a link to the Valve Core Depressor Tool used in the video???
Lee Byrd The best valve core removal tool is the Appion appiontools.com/mgavct/and there is also a mini-split version appiontools.com/mgavcr/. Both are available nationwide at United Refrigeration www.uri.com and Aireco www.aireco.com Remember to always use black HD hoses for vacuum & recovery and the bigger the hose, the faster the pull-down!
This person asked where is the link to the “valve depressor tool” mentioned in the video. The adapter fitting that screws on to 1/4” auto valve, depressing the valve, then your gauges screw on to the adapter. Someone responded with a link to “valve removal tool”. I can’t find the link either.
Very good information bro about the book I have to perches it
I don’t see the angle stop that you turn to open and close listed.
I believe you are talking about this one, thanks!- 1 Ball Valve Fitting: amzn.to/2VN1lyO
3 Ball Valve Fittings: amzn.to/3cCtJcT
@@acservicetechchannel I think hes talking about the C&D Valve CD2070. the core depressor with backseat
James that would be the one CD2070 thank you.
I retired from HVAC a few years now. I have an old R22 pressure gauge, and I installed a mini system for my garage, but my gauge end wont fit the service valve of the 410A system. Is there an adapter to fit the older gauge?
I'll be using the high side of the older gauge on the low side of the system . I don't want to have to spend money for new gauges just for the one time use.
You want a 5/16 adapter
I have always wondered why 5/16 fittings? It’s frustrating when you think you have the 1/4 and it won’t gram 🤦♂️
Ha ha, yeah, manufacturers like to do their own thing!
When the rest of the world went from R22 to R410A, they decided to differentiate their service valves so that techs wouldn’t add R22 to a 410A system. Being the good ol’ USA and doing our own thing (ex. Not going metric), we stayed with the 1/4” valves. NRP is going to introduce mini-split hoses and will be available @ UR locations nationwide by fall 2020.
Why is it so hard to find a 1/4” female to 1/2” adapter for vacuum’s that only have 1/2” fitting?? I bought R12 to 134R fitting but the threads are backwards and pissing me off to find a right hand threads in that size!!
I like your channel. Are your literature measurements in degrees Celsius and psi, kpa etc.. Or you all AmeriCAN?🤪
I apologize its F and PSI, thanks!
I'm Aussie. I use Imperial Eastman gear..30+ year old manual flare and swage tool. Alot of Chinese crap really has no place for our carbon footprint..
1/4" FLARE
Please don't just call it 1/4".
