Carmelo such a legend I hate ppl downplay how great he was and is.
Because they don’t know … MELO was HIM one of my favorites ever since Oak Hill 💯
He was one of the best scorers in the midrange and overall for 6-7 years in the NBA. He was unreal. I just wish he was a more of a team player and not so selfish you can tell in the interview all he cares about is scoring.
@@Snickersznnah he was selfless. And has 7600 career rebounds. Even played good defense his mvp third ranking season in 2013. You dont make the playoffs every year without being a team player

My Lil brother was a chubby kid growing up his fav Players were Paul Pierce, Ricky Davis and Carmelo Anthony. He passed in 2014 but i jus remember being a kid playing NBA live 04 golden Days

This is deep. I never knew that’s how the business treated Melo. As fans, we don’t have a clue what goes on behind closed doors 🚪 when it comes to the player’s mental state and how they feel.

One of my idols growing up, Carmelo Anthony, one of the top scorers of all time and faced the NY media like a man for 6 years when 99% shy away from the bright lights. Got me into not just basketball but sports and made me want to hoop. KING OF NYC
He self proclaimed that title and it backfired he should’ve bought into Mike D’Antonis system but no it’s melo right. He ruined linsanity momentum due to his fragile ego and he forced Mike to leave the Knicks, as a Knicks fan looking back all he did was hurt the team. Stat padding and ball hogging that’s what he’s remembered for. We better of with Brunson now and Randle

That 2003 draft class was really special, the top picks and most of the others became successful in the NBA and then after retirement as well.
1996 draft is special in this same way but it’s deeper talent wise

Okay, there are a lot of players and ex-players with podcasts. Honestly, half of them are average as hell. Dwayne Wade's questions are excellent! I was locked in this entire interview and want part 2. Like professional level questions!
