കോട്ടയം വൈക്കം സ്വദേശിനിയായ ശ്രുതി സിത്താര കേരളത്തിലെ ട്രാന്സ്ജെന്ഡേഴ്സ് ബ്യൂട്ടി പേജന്റ് ആയ ക്വീൻ ഓഫ് ദ്വയ 2018 വിജയിയാണ്. ഒരു മോഡലും ആർട്ടിസ്റ്റും ആയ ശ്രുതി സിത്താര കേരള സംസ്ഥാന സാമൂഹ്യ നീതി വകുപ്പിന്റെ കീഴിൽ ജോലി ലഭിച്ച ആദ്യത്തെ വ്യക്തികളിലൊരാളാണ്. വൈക്കത്തെ ഒരു ചെറിയ ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ ജനിച്ചുവളർന്ന പ്രവീൺ ചെറുപ്പത്തിലേ തന്റെ വ്യത്യസ്തതയെ തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു.
“ഞാൻ എന്താണെന്ന് എനിക്കുപോലും മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ കഴിയാത്ത അവസ്ഥ, അത് വളരെ ഭീകരമായിരുന്നു.” ഒരുപാട് വര്ഷങ്ങളോളം ഉത്തരമില്ലാതെ നിലനിന്ന ശ്രുതിയുടെ ചോദ്യങ്ങൾക്ക് ഉത്തരങ്ങൾ ലഭിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങിയത് കൊച്ചിയിൽ കോളേജിൽ പഠിക്കുമ്പോഴാണ്. എപ്പോഴും സ്വപ്‌നങ്ങൾ കാണാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ച ശ്രുതിയുടെ അന്നത്തെ കാലത്തെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ സ്വപ്നം തന്റെ സ്ത്രീത്വം ലോകത്തോട് വിളിച്ചുപറയണം എന്നായിരുന്നു. എന്നാൽ ശ്രുതിയുടെ പോലത്തെ ഒരു സാധാരണ കുടുംബത്തോട് തന്റെ സത്യങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞുമനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടായതിനാൽ ശ്രുതി ഒരു ജോലി കണ്ടുപിടിക്കാനുള്ള തയ്യാറെടുപ്പിലായിരുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ കടുത്ത പരിശ്രമങ്ങൾക്കൊടുവിൽ ശ്രുതി കരസ്ഥമാക്കിയത് ചരിത്രവിജയമാണ്. അച്ഛൻ തന്നെ സ്വീകരിച്ചതിനെ തുടർന്ന് ശ്രുതി തന്റെ ബാക്കിയുള്ള സ്വപ്‌നങ്ങൾ ഒന്നൊന്നായി സഫലീകരിക്കുവാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചു. 2018-ൽ ക്വീൻ ഓഫ് ദ്വയ സൗന്ദര്യ മത്സരത്തിൽ പങ്കെടുത്ത ശ്രുതി കിരീടം ധരിച്ചാണ് തിരിച്ചുവന്നത് . ഇന്നൊരു പ്രൊഫഷണൽ മോഡലും ആർട്ടിസ്റ്റുമായ ശ്രുതി ജോഷ് Talks-ന്റെ വേദിയിൽ നമ്മോട് പറയുന്നത് പോസിറ്റീവ് ആയി ചിന്തിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് നമ്മുടെ സ്വപ്നങ്ങൾക്ക് വേണ്ടി പരിശ്രമിക്കുവാനാണ്. ഇന്ന് നമ്മെ തിരസ്കരിക്കുന്ന ലോകം നാളെ നമ്മുടെ പിന്നാലെ വരും. ഈ ടോക്ക് നിങ്ങൾക്ക് സഹായകമായെങ്കിൽ ലൈക്കും ഷെയറും ചെയ്യുക, നിങ്ങളുടെ അഭിപ്രായങ്ങൾ കമന്റ് ബോക്സിലൂടെ ഞങ്ങളെ അറിയിക്കൂ.
Sruthy Sithara from Vaikom, Kottayam is the winner of the Queen of Dhwayah 2018, a transgender beauty pageant in Kerala. Sruthy Sithara, a model and artist, was one of the first persons to get a job under the Kerala State Department of Social Justice. Born and raised in a small village in Vaikom, Praveen (Sruthy Sithara) realized his differences at an early age.
"It was so horrible that I could not even understand what I was", Sruthy recalls. It was while studying in college in Kochi that she started getting answers to the questions which had remained unanswered for many years. Sruthy, who always wanted to dream, said that her biggest dream at that time was to call out her femininity to the world. But Sruthy was preparing to find a job as it was difficult for her to tell her truths to an ordinary family like Sruthy’s. The job under the department of Social Justice was a historic achievement that Sruthy has achieved so much after hard work. After being accepted by her father, Sruthy tried to make the rest of her dreams come true one by one. In 2018, Sruthy, who participated in the Queen of Dhwayah beauty pageant, returned with the crown. Today, Sruthy Sithar, a professional model and artist, tells us on the stage of Josh Talks Malayalam to strive for our dreams by thinking positively.
