- BELINDA CARLISLE + ZODIAC MINDWARPS BAND THE LOVE REACTION playing as her backing band!!! Guitarist Colbat Stargazer tries to get in on the action with a (ridiculous mimed) solo!
If I remember, it was I think around 90-91 A lot of alcohol was involved before the recording of this performance, live and mimed on some award show somewhere in Europe, just for the sheer hell of it. For the record, Belinda is a genuine rocker and it was her idea. Playing the bass was Paul Raven from Ministry, then with TLR, and Z himself was assisting the proceedings with the keyboard playing. Alcohol? I thinks it's probably the only time a meta "metal" band got scared by the VAST amounts of Cocaine..

I saw ZODIAC MINDWARP & THE LOVE REACTION at the Reading festival uk in the 80's and they were one of the best live bands I have ever seen.

I've actually gigged with 'Cobalt Stargazer' several times...he is actually a god of lead guitar dispite his hamming it up here.

I love Zodiac and the LR. I got to party with them and Belinda around this time. I have Zod's first 2 albums autographed by the band.
When I was a kid, I was going out with a hairdresser a few years older than me, and I was with her and her friends at a gay bar and got to meet and hang out with Belinda back in the day. That girl could party!!!!!!!

Ha-ha, great one) Zodiac Mindwarp is really good at trolling. What i see here is that managers invited ZM&LR as backing band, and ZM thougth "Why not?". Then trey were forced to play with playback, and Colbat Stargazer made it more than obvious to mock Belinda and make a good laugh for us)

How gullible are some commenters? Clearly they're all miming, its no big mystery, sometimes performers promote their latest single on shows like this, and rather than have to organize and pay the real band to travel with them just for a 3 minutes of miming along they just hire anyone who knows how to mime an instrument to pretend as and when they need to. Probably paid them about $100 for this.
