This actual live show was broadcasted on Swedish TV in 1988. I loved it and today of 4.4-2022 I am watching this for the first time in over 30 years. Time flies omg! I so remember the, "Oh hello Philadelphia!" Belinda Carlisle was scheduled to play in Stockholm, Sweden on this tour but the concert was cancelled. As far as I know she never toured Sweden, I know she did at least one tv performance on the Swedish/Norwegian boarder a few years back. I´ve noticed past years she was touring Europa and it always was during NFL season, when I travelled to the US for Packers games so I could not travel to the UK back then. A couple of days ago I found out she´ll be doing a concert in Stockholm with Simply Red and Natalie Imbruglia in August this year! I am the luckiest guy on earth right now!!

I was 10 in 86. Best Yr of my life. Football (soccer) was great even though my team narrowly missed out on a league and Cup double. The world Cup In Mexico was the best ever. It is also not uncommon to clean up voices in post production of live concerts that is released on home video (see any other band or musician). I don't think she did playback (she didn't when she visited Norway in 2019 at least), and we can hear the differences from the original track with her words being somewhat shorter and longer.

Back in the early 80’s Belinda and the group stopped in a restaurant in Aurora,IL and my late wife waited on them they were very down to earth and when they had left she went over to the table there was a note that said “Sorry about not leaving a tip, we are short on money because we’re going to California to make our 1st album. If we get famous we will send you tickets to our concert. Keep with the beat, The go gos” never got those tickets! Well 12 or so years later I sent her a letter asking if it really were them. 3weeks later I received something more precious than a concert ticket she sent me a letter (airmail even!) on her personal engraved stationary stating that was them! I framed it and I put it on my living room wall to for all to see and she signed it Belinda Carlisle Mason! Thank you Belinda and Congratulations to the GoGos for being inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!!!

I love this concert. I had it on vhs and I have watched it so many times. I would watch it over and over again, had to rewind the tape of course in between, because that's how it was done back in the days.

Back in the early 80’s Belinda and the group stopped in a restaurant in Aurora,IL and my late wife waited on them they were very down to earth and when they had left she went over to the table there was a note that said
“Sorry about not leaving a tip, we are short on money because we’re going to California to make our 1st album. If we get famous we will send you tickets to our concert. Keep with the beat, The go gos” never got those tickets! Well 12 or so years later I sent her a letter asking if it really were them. 3weeks later I received something
more precious than a concert ticket she sent me a letter (airmail even!) on her personal engraved stationary stating that was them! I framed it and I put it on my living room wall to for all to see and she signed it
