Time for Nicks to go. All he does is talk crap. Fails to develop the young players. Still playing Smith, Laird, Crouch....
A win means nothing, a loss is probably better for us. This coaching staff is clueless and we're going nowhere fast until Nicks and Co admit that the senior players aren't the way forward.

All talk Nicks ! Thanks for ruining the season. Bold prediction . You'll scrape home against Richmond. Youll lose to Sydney. You won't beat any of the Top 8 sides going into 2nd half of the year because you haven't learned a single lesson from the last 4 losing seasons. Youre not a motivator. If you were we wouldnt have these incredible lapses. The season is done . This club has gone backwards. Youre too slow to act. Rankine shouldve been in the midfield from Game 1. Rachele shouldve been in the centre against Hawthorn. Our mids are racking up possessions, but as its been highlighted many times this year they dont effect the game. A change was due at the end of last season. To give the team an edge. To win those close ones we've been losing for 4 seasons.
Spot on. Need a coach who sets acceptable standards in performance whilst also backing in the right long term players.
@@jackabbott2202 100% Jack . The background noise has grown a lot louder. Nicks is incredibly slow to act. He runs the same ol s*** every week and wonders why we get run over by teams that want it more. Or are actually progressing and have a game plan. Nicks is a "shut the door after the horse has bolted " kind of coach. We needed "Angeball " this season.

I couldn't believe our short kicking game against Hawthorn,so many short kicks missed the target even when there wasn't a Hawthorn player in sight.Players looked frightened of making a mistake,looked nervous.Obviously something isn't right.I don't think it's skill.I think is above the shoulders , do they have a psychologist? Apart from coaches and senior players installing confidence in the younger players.Laird plays his best football in the backline.Need a ruckman who can take a few more marks around the ground.Seems not to know how people think.e.g. Curtin, bringing in Dowling why not bring back in Curtin with him ...two new young players supporting each other.
Curtin needs some more development he got smashed in the AFL games that he played
We lack pace. Now Rankine is sidelined, nows the time to have a look at some of these potentials that have been running around in the SANFL. We're playing Richmond. No harm in looking at 2 - 3 young kids. Maybe we have a Harley Reid somewhere minus the suspension.
