Olive oil is for flushing out and lemon juice, which is acidic is to dissolve. Initially have lots of lemon juice and then after 3 days start mixing with olive oil gradually increasing it over the next 3 days. Very large stones can be removed that way. Thanks Doctor!

I'd say drink lemon juice anytime whenever possible. I mean, when you finish meal it's better to drink lemon juice than other drinks. Stay away from tea, coffee and soda. I got stones every 3 months but after I drink it regularly they haven't shown up. It's the citric acid in lemon that prevents the stone materials (oxalate and calcium) to unite, so I'd suggest the sourer the better.

I was diagnosed with a 14mm kidney stone stuck in my kidney which needed lithotripsy last march.. I passed an almost 7 mm stone (6.63 mm to be exact). I had 2 shots per day of 2 ounces Extra Virgin Olive Oil and 2 ounces of fresh squeezed lemon juice. I put the concoction in the blender and honestly it tasted like salad dressing. I took one shot in the morning and 1 shot before bed. It took me 3 days of taking this. I just passed the stone a bit ago and honestly I was about ready to give up and go in to the emergency room. I also drank 3 (40 oz mugs of water per day with lemon squeezed in) The stone did not disintegrate it came out hard and jagged as can be (looked like a jagged crystal). Add cayenne pepper to the mix. About a 1/4 teaspoon . This will help heal any scratches the stones left in their traverse out.

The reason I do home cleanses is i do not want to go near a physician ever ! I did this a couple of years back and passed two very painfully positioned stones in 10-12 hours of starting the process. Every hour had one shot glass of olive oil and lemon juice combined. Important to note that try to avoid eating during the period if possible. And I prefer starting the process in the night just before bed when your stomach is relatively empty.
