Sorry so many harsh/negative comments. I thought you did a very good and informative job. I learned and saw what I needed. Thanks for this video.

I didn't hone the front - as I find it hard to keep the exact bevel along the whole edge and worry about rounding it over. It's easier to keep the back flat and just touch-off that burr. Not a big deal either way however - it's plenty sharp from the waterstone.

You don't have to strop hone the bevel, just strop hone the back edge to remove the burr?
Or was that part just not shown?

This jig should grind whole blade length else FAIL.
The micro adjustment screws are wobbling, they made like crap. Tormek = china quality ?

juliusvalentinas Ditto. Sloppy threading/screw fit, sloppy vertical support, sloppy music.

NOT impressed at all with this jig, even though it's probly the best out there. DO NOT like the fact this jig won't grind the entire length of the planer blade without having to adjust it. what gives? FAIL.

    Well let's see.
Wonder if he could teach a single thing; without using his non stop trite andboring; not to mention the unbelievable number of times he repeats the phrase, "Go ahead and......" He is not alone. MOST on UA-cam do that; not to mention "You know" and "I mean". Many of us get so sick of it. NOT to mention that horrible thing they call "music". WHO needs it. What has any kind of music got to to with woodworking? Huh? Oh well.
Also, having to readjust long blades in the jig is NOT in keeping with Tormek's normal quality. But then as the world becomes more liberal, that is of course understandable. "They talk the talk, but they don't ever walk the walk!" Oh well.
Lastly, It also goes along with a company that would NOT even have been known in America if it had not been for a very knowledgeable and awesome "teacher" by the name of Jeff Ferris. Who sold more Tormek's than any other person in this nation and possibly the world.
But of course Tormek took his business away, once their sales skyrocketed. Another reason why they are going to hell in a hand-basket. In other words, 'ya caint do that and survive for long, For what ye sow, so shall ye reap!"
    Oh well.

do you not realize you are saying real things to real people? you talk about a man in the third person on his video like hes not going to see it. would you say these things to a persons face? you should be ashamed. keep your criticisms on the product not the person, he didn't build the tormek and hes not responsible for your lack of friends or painfully obvious ignorance
