@@jrayleanoleano8943 I hope you are not talking to me! If you are, you sound like those whites I have to correct. My Masters dissertation was on POSTCOLONIAL STUDIES! One of the subjects was the US occupation of the Philippines! I never said that they did not know racism! My point was that black folks have suffered this shit for 400 years! Long after the US pulled out of the Philippines, my people were being hung for looking a white man in the eye. Do not come at me with anymore bull shit.

As a Filipino don't think those ones who criticizes Manny for being steroids are racist because I saw black fans criticizes other black fighters on steroids too not only in boxing but in MMA as well. American white fans and Mexican fans do it too. I just think they're insecure fans who can't accept when a fighter keep dominating it's opponents especially bigger ones

    Fact:
"I was in VEGAS of PACQUIAO - Mayweather fight, and FLOYDIE never hurt PACMAN at all, as he was RUNNING, HUGGING & DO LOTS of POTSHOTS all 12 rounds, period."
    PACQUIAO WON that fight!
And when he fought Antonio Margarito and hurt him so much, Antonio was 165LBS (weight) that night with 5"11 (almost 6 feet) height.
It means he can fight & beat a CHAMPION with 165lbs weight, so how can Spence can KO or even beat him?!?
Have a great day to y'all!

I'm glad you made this channel to wake-up and put some sense on people who doesn't know anything like casuals, etc. Your explanation on how hard it is for manny to achieve certain things(8 division classes his height, giving up reach advantage, moving-up 2-3 weight classes etc are so concise and well explained) i am w/ you that manny is indeed something special...💯💥 He is someone we might see only in our lifetime. This is probably the most objective argument I've watched. The same reason why I liked and will always like Mike Tyson is because he was really an undersized heavyweight. His proportions and physical stats were smaller than probably 90% of the guys he fought in his career, with the exception of his neck size maybe in his prime. He was lower in height, weight, reach, arm length etc. What he lacked in size and proportions he made up with his speed, quickness, agility, footwork and his strong core and powerful legs that generated so much torque responsible for his KOs. There's no other way to look at it Mike's short levers should not have had the power they had had he not had the strong legs and trunk to create the torque. His hooks and uppercuts prove it. Basically, in a lot of ways Pacquiao's physicality mirrors that of Mike when he started to go up and challenge the bigger weight class. Like Roy Jones said, the reason why Pacquiao's power has not disappeared is because of his legs, and somehow he still has a good bit of speed and agility. The same way I respect Mike is the reason you gotta give Manny his props. You are spot on brother.

Very insightful observations. It's a shame that with social media people will say things they normally wouldn't. To his credit Floyd has never really trashed talked Manny and seems to have the utmost respect for his skills. Even though the Peds rumors came from his camp, he probably regrets insinuating it in the first place; and let's face it, he or his camp did it to avoid facing that version of Pac. Your last point was spot on. Pacquiao was not born to box, he did it to survive. But when he found his gift, he also found the way to uplift those around him with his abilities. Which is why he'll never lose it.

I am a Filipino who simply uses boxing gloves and a heavy bag for exercise.
Firstly, you look great for 59.
Secondly, thank you for your perspective of the current situation.
It is interesting that some boxing fans, like those critics you refer to, can watch the greats of the past (Jones Jr., Tyson, the Four Kings, The Golden Age of Heavyweights, etc.) and be amazed, but those same boxing fans can watch Manny Pacquiao, a fighter who emulates the same aura as the greats of the past, and belittle him.
As a Filipino, do I respect Floyd Mayweather? I had my doubts before, but after listening to you, I can be crystal clear that I cannot respect him, not as a fighter (to me, he always felt like a businessman who happens to box), and not as a man.
Regarding your upcoming video topic, I have a thought: Manny Pacquiao could be placed in the 80s (or any other pre-2000s era that would fit as well) and would thrive. Can we say the same for Floyd Mayweather?
Again, thank you for your discussion, and I look forward to hearing from you as a reply to this comment, and/or a new video.

It’s the floyd fans from when mayweather defamed and spread rumors. They carry that with them to every chat and now the young fans are assuming that it’s got some validity to it which it doesn’t. It’s a way to justify as to why manny is doing great things in the sport and Floyd’s excuse to avoid the fight in their prime.
Floyd couldn’t fathom how manny did accomplish what he did bc Floyd’s ego was so big he thought no one in the world could out do him. That’s obviously not the case.
IMO Floyd used it as a way to put distance between himself and manny. Give something to his fans that they’d run with as to why he didn’t want the fight.
Ppl today use it as a way to tear manny down for the same reason, jealousy and ignorance.

However I believe in order for the nation to move forward in society, we must go past our skin color and not call ourselves Black Americans, White Americans, Brown Americans or Yellow Americans. Why can't we call each other Americans because that's what we really are?

    • @TheUmmahFightCamp
      @TheUmmahFightCamp  3 роки тому +1

jomai2040: American history shows black people to be BLACK. Not American. If we were American, we would be treated as such. After I showed the images I showed, you should not have made that comment. Next, it was NOT we blacks that decided to live by our skin color! You have to read with an eye for the truth. It is easy for those who want it. Lastly, skin color is good. Nothing wrong with it. The issue is when one is seen as inferior to the other. BTW, go to white channels and try telling them what you told me.

Yeah you people, you know who you are. If Floyd had done what Manny has done, you people will worship him. But since he's not you people, you people hate on him. Face it you people, you people are just haters.

Is it okay to be a white nationalist? if you are a black nationalist

Justin: WHITE nationalism is the cause of more deaths than any other ideology! It is an ideology based on ENTITLEMENT. (SEE attack on the capital). Back nationalism is based on EXCELLENCE. NOT at all the same.

Never seen you show any kind of respect for Floyd achievements on your channel. You make just be guilty of the same thing sir.

@@TheUmmahFightCamp never went as far as saying that, Im a huge watcher of your content, I was trying to point out something. Which is why I used the phrase respect for his achievements, because you have clearly stated reasons why you lack respect for him as a man which is fair enough to me. But what the man has achieved in boxing I feel deserves a bit more acknowledgement from you in terms of the way the information is presented to the general public. Asides from that you do a phenomenal job on here.

No disrespect brother it's all love and we just talking boxing. But evander holyfield, Bernard Hopkins and George Foreman. Legacy and resume is better than Manny Pacquiao. We're talking boxing not personality and not race but Floyd Mayweather is better than Manny.
