Big Woohoojin fan here. He actually just put out an aimlabs routine he specifically designed to help with common problems he sees. As much as I love woohoojin I'm peak silver 3 so I appreciate your videos so far.
The tip about missing the one-tap only shot on someone who isn't looking at you and let them kill me if I whiff my shots actually helped me A LOT dealing with annoyance in Deathmatch, and helps me stay calm in all gunfights because it reminds me that it's okay to lose
that is exactly my issue. I tried fixing it with aim lab, started playing voltaic training and benchmarks, even getting master rank, witch is like ~top 1000 of best aimers WW. And still fail miserably in game, looking like a guy that picked his mouse first time in a life. I will try this DM routine you talked about, wish me luck!
I’ve spent about 10-11 days 10-20 minutes of aim lab a day. A lot of peak shot and move shot. On top of practice tool, and I got the same mindset… still whiff all my shots but only in ranked. I just started the game but getting Silver was the reality check to how truly bad I am, and that I need a serious mental ranked routine.
ty for the video. ive been struggling with valo lately guess its that learning curve woohojin talked about once, but its kinda burning me out. I know i can do better, but after some clutch moments im really shaky. like my hands cant stop shaking like i had to fight fot my actual life. so yeah panic shooting all the way.
Dude please do more of these , just started to seriously play valorant and play comp after 150 hours of unrated and currently on bronze 3 , valorant is my first fps and im sooo behind my friends who had played hundreds of hours in siege and csgo .
"you only get one tapped in the hand only once or twice" Buddddddddddddddy I can assure you sometimes I cant even fire a single bullet MULTIPLE TIMES in the game.
100% agree. However. My micro movements are so bad. That’s why I don’t like playing ice box and breeze. My aim truly is bad but I’m atleast smarter than my aim
Doesn't work like that. I mean offcourse it'll help you build first bullet accuracy, but the thing is every gun doesn't have the same first bullet accuracy. Every gun has a different fire rate (you try one tapping with vandal but you end up bursting if haven't practiced enough). Spray patterns are different in each gun + different in different range of fights (10 metre , 20 , 30 ,50 and so on) So , while guardian or sheriff do help you build that raw first bullet accuracy, you would still need to practice other guns to perform better with them.
In my case, I feel like since I already am at a very big disadvantage (I have like 220ms reaction time and a 60Hz monitor, not gonna blame the monitor because I've tried 144Hz and it only improves my ms for like 20 which is still quite slow) so in my brain the only way I can win a gunfight is if I flick faster. Do you feel like in that case I should still take my time to steady my aim? I do practice my flicking a lot (In practice range, I hold spray and I hit a bot with the first bullet and another bot with the second bullet and try to get consistent with it) while I realize that when I try to take my time my score on hard mode (Practice range) goes down significantly, even though I know that's not the best measure. Btw I think your videos are great, just discovered you today and watched like 5 of your videos, hope the yt algorithm is kind to you!
Woohoojin calls this learning higher order skills I think. Basically learning these harder skills is difficult and will hurt your performance in the short term but will help eventually.
@@Frosty4326 i was silver 3 in just the previous act and placed bronze 2 this act. Everyone went down, it happens every new episode iirc. My friend was plat 1 and placed silver 2.

Thank you so much :) no stopping this content train ahaha
Very underrated once I've taken what you said into games I've been getting more consistent headshots.
It's a cheatcode ahahaha, also, the more you do it, the faster you'll be so it'll legit look like you're cheating ahaha

I have a question for the deathmatch routine, if the enemy is looking at you are you allowed to do a 2 spray and if you miss let them kill you?

wouldn't it be better to use guardian for the dm training? since u get only one shot?
