What really kills me is seeing how big and bright Kobe and Vanessa's smiles are when they talk about their kids. I've seen my mom smile the same way at me and my siblings. I've seen my friends smile like that with their kids. This is absolutely heartbreaking. It hurts to watch this.

Kobe had already accepted death as being inevitable. And idk how he thinks obvs, but I feel that the saddest part for Kobe and the other parents was they were helpless in saving their children. Kobe didn’t care about his death, he was prob devastated that Gigi’s was highly possible (same for the other parents). It’s heartbreaking as a parent who always wants to protect their kids, realizing that in that moment there was really nothing they could do. If there was a way to just save the children even at their own expense, Kobe and the rest of the parents on the helicopter wouldn’t hesitate. RIP to Kobe, Gigi and everyone who unfortunately lost their lives, as well as the pilot on that day

I have been have been listening to the news and heard about a car accident killing 4 people in my area. I didn't know them but I cried for them. Mind you it may be my hormones, but the point is we can still mourn for those we do not know, and we do not need anything back.

I was just thinking the same. The 2 youngest daughters wont remember Kobe or their sister GIGI. The 2 year old was kissing GIGI a few times you wonder if she would ever remember kissing her or getting kissed by her, and all the time KOBE held her.
