In a recent court deposition for her lawsuit against Los Angeles County, the widow of the late Kobe Bryant described the heartbreaking day she found out that a helicopter crash had claimed the lives of the Lakers legend and their 13-year-old daughter Gianna.

@@krisb933 i have read the autopsy reports, and indeed their deaths were particularly horrific. just seeing the autopsy drawings made me feel sick to my stomach. i won’t go into details but i can’t even imagine how awful the actual photographs must be. let’s just say helicopter crashes do not leave a very pretty site. the fear that vanessa must live in day to day worrying that someone will see her husband or baby like that is unimaginable. hope to god those people deleted all the pictures so that way they can never get out to the public.

Have a level of human decency. The trauma alone someone suffers from losing a loved one, but then having to deal with pictures being leaked...its beyond horrible.
That was a sad day for all the family who lost their life. Losing your husband and child at the same time that’s definitely heartbreaking forever.
That’s why tell people who you love you love them much as possible because you never know if you will see them tomorrow

I can relate to that. My ex who was my first love died from drugs & I was not with him at the time & I had to find out over Facebook. I understand she was grieving the loss of her son but his mother didn’t even bother to call me. Seeing that post made my heart crumble into a million pieces & I didn’t even get a chance to say goodbye.

Whoever took those photos and shared them needs a psychiatric evaluation. NOT HER! Can’t believe the photos were taken by 1st responders. How unprofessional can you be? Sickos out here man.
The photos themselves aren't the issue. Investigators need to take them for evidence purposes. HOWEVER, distributing them to other cops & showing them to a bartender?! That's a massive breach of confidentiality & a major misconduct. She should absolutely sue, and anyone involved in the distribution of those photos need to lose their jobs & never work in the field again.

Those weren’t even taken for professional or legal reasons. Those are taken by the forensic photographers. These cops took them on their phones which isn’t a standard procedure anywhere.

I cannot believe that LAW enforcement shared those heartbreaking photos of all people! That is horrific to think that those sensitive and graphic images were some sort of trophy or next cool thing, those were beautiful souls lost! Vanessa has been so brave and classy through this whole ordeal and her strength radiates although it's evident her heart is irreparably broken... it saddens me for her and their surviving daughters. I hope she has justice and shame on the officers for sharing those images I'm sure that the taxes of the wealthy are providing a lot to the city to its a slap to her face that this is how they treated this tragedy.

I absolutely believe her. She should not have to go through all of this in order to be validated in the media or a court room. She is a wife and a mother experiencing, what most would consider, the worst scenario imaginable. Just because she is wealthy and well known does not mean she is above the very human emotions of this experience. To have this happen, and then to know people so callously shared and exposed her loved ones in this position, is another trauma all of its own. Sending her my deepest sympathies. I hope she is able to have some sort of peace in this. The individuals responsible, and this others who didn't properly enforce the ethics in this situation, I hope they are held fully accountable.
