As a Heat fan, and disregarding how Jimmy feels, I say ship him out. We not winning a championship so give him to somebody that still sees value in him, get some pieces, and ride it out as we do a soft rebuild

@@Thugzzzyyy I hope you had this same energy for James Harden when he requested out of Philly, Brooklyn, and Houston

@@Thugzzzyyyjust shut up and stop talking.
I'm seeing this from both sides. On one hand, Jimmy Butler has been carrying the Heat when it matters most with his leadership in the playoffs. And since Miami is considered a big market team, the regular season will always take care of itself because Florida is always considered an attractive destination. So, Jimmy being handed a less talented roster and doing more than expected is a real testament to him and he deserves to be compensated for that. On the other hand, Pat Riley already did the same thing to Dwayne Wade when he was at Jimmy's age. But the Heat's real problems are Riley's fault because he didn't upgrade the roster when he had the chance.
This is revisionist history, Pat Reily went after KD, PG, DAME, KYRIE IRVING, DONOVAN MITCHELL, LEVINE, and more they swang and missed, some because the Heat couldn't afford to pay them Jimmy, Herro, and Bam.
@@champ2233killadno it’s because they refuse to trade Tyler when at his high stock. Pat have a history of that

Kobe is an exception cause he gave us 5 parades. Never cheated the lakers fans. I never missed a laker game when kobe was playing. he earned every single penny he was given.
You forgot he wanted out in like 07? Yeah he did try to cheat lakers fans stop being delusiobal
@@VeryRestarted that's not cheating lakers fans, that's being fed up wasting 3 of his prime years on the worst roster in the nba from 05-07 and the front office doing nothing about it. That's where Pau came in. Once they got off their butts and got him sum help he was more than willing to stay
He legit wanted out multiple times and called them out multiple times 😂

Can someone explain the jimmy being a team cancer narrative? Kept the bulls relevant after rose, took the wolves to the playoffs for the 1st time since 2004, was the best player on a 76ers team that was a game away from the ECF and 3 ecf appearances and 2 finals appearances witht the heat. Seems like the guy does pretty well wherever he goes lol

It’s the way he’s going out with Miami that rubs a lot of people the wrong way, including myself. And this isn’t a knock on Jimmy at all I got his vice jersey and a finals edition jersey but I wish he would’ve at least finished out the season before requesting a trade

Comparing Kobe contract situation to Jimmy is lunacy.
Remember NBA contracts aren't only about performances on the court. Is about the product of your team, the jersey you sell, the media attention they get, how much money they produced in tickets sells.
Kobe got that contract because quite literally make the Lakers franchise, waaaay, waaaaaaaaaay richer. Kobe was the most famous player of any sports ON THE PLANET. Kobe Bryant was on Jordan level of recognition and money making. Shoe deals, tickets sells, jersey sells, ads deals, popularity, brand recognition. The name "KOBE" is inked on people brains. The Lakers gave them a contract because losing Kobe as a brand was far more punishing than losing Kobe as a player on the court.
Jimmy Butler got NONE of what Kobe got. He doesn't move masses, he doesn't got fans, he doesn't move jersey,he doesn't sell shoes, he doesn't move tickets, he doesn't create attention to teams, he isn't a representative of team he play for. Jimmy Butler is a nobody outside of the sports of basketball.
If you gonna give a contract to a aging player who is demanding a max you gonna give it to a player who bring you not only on court results, but make financial sense base on what they bring as image for your team.
Didn't MJ make like 30 mil a year on the Bulls in his last years?! That's late 90s dollars. That like making 65 mil today.
His last season.
30 million in the 90s would be approximately 70 million today. But that also ignores the salary cap increases in that time, as well as the decrease in purchasing power of the dollar from then to now. So for practical purposes Jordan was making A LOT more than 70M in today’s money.
Yup, and delivered them Rings... and global audiences. MJ was always underpaid
And he got them rings and made their franchise relevant
@@evokejake lucky guy to be paid the most at the tail end and still have a great team around him. Idk another star like that
Swish, I have to disagree. I find it strange that in a capitalist society individuals are concerned with "deservedness" as opposed to "earnings due to economic activity". The reality is we are moralizing NBA players (as in requiring them to consider how much they ought to feel grateful for their economic position); yet we allow the NBA and its owners to in a far more quiet manner reap, leverage, expand, and thus maximize their revenue whilst become upset with players when they do the same through we means that are equally "morally wrong". In a capitalist society what you deserve is tied to what revenue you produce, nothing more nothing less, thus if Jimmy wishes to leverage and earns another contract it is his right to do so as does ownership. Teams are never asked to "love the game for the sake of the game" and so I find it odd when players are held to that standard. Additionally, notice that this antagonism is never directed towards teams because the players are always public facing. This leaves teams able to insulate themselves from public critique, pull more profits in (even in seasons with bad records), and count on the public to get mad at the players out of moralizing and jealously whilst quietly enjoying more wealth than anyone.
Additional Comment: Noticed that another top comment discussed what Jimmy has done to DESERVE his money (through playoff performance, and stats), which implicitly means he has to PROVE why the economic activity he is contractually owed is fair. This line of argument is irrelevant, as again we are moralizing players yet not asking if the NBA and owners "deserve" their wealth. No one asks if Micky Arison (Heater owner) "deserves" to own his team and get paid from contracts he signed, so why are we asking Jimmy?
Valid point would luv to hear a rebuttal from someone this is good 👍🏾
I've had similar thoughts aswell
Thank you so much for eloquently stating what I was thinking. 👍👍
I agree
I agree. And even if Jimmy is acting like a clown on the court at the moment, while being paid to do the job being the exact opposite of clowning, I don´t understand why he is getting more hate for wanting to secure good contract than Minesota managment for destroying an amazing team just because they were all about the profit not about winning.
Let’s be honest this is our own fault for idolizing players as if they are God’s, simply for playing a game.
Bro wdym Jalen Brunson is my hero he’s god himself!

Facts 🗣️
You act like people have NEVER been invested in the most elite athletes in their given sport and/or paid good money to be entertained by said athletes
@@leeswift7883I don’t think he said anything like that, even if we’ve always done it that doesn’t mean it’s right or healthy
I mean Jimmy has every right to leave when u look at what he has done with their roster but not to leave like this
Nah he should definitely leave like this, he did right by the fans and carried this roster as far as they could go. And pat is ungrateful for what jimmy did. Not saying he should pay an old jimmy at all, but pat treating jimmy like he's a chump is lame.
@@colewrld901 I mean with the Heat coming out saying that they let Jimmy get away with a lot which includes missing shooting arounds, showing up late on media days, not talking to the media because he didn't feel like it, staying at different hotels than his teammates etc. Even Wade himself said, the Heat let Jimmy do things that he himself, Bron, other star players weren't able to get away with. All Pat was asking is for Jimmy to play more games then they can talk in the offseason about an extension. Could he had said it in a better way and in private? Of course but Miami pretty much let him do what he wanted until he was told, "No" on getting the extension
@@colewrld901say it again! Pat was super disrespectful. Amazing how the franchise and fans treated a career benchwarmer like Haslem better than Jimmy
@@Rucker1980the guy that likes to keep people accountable doesn’t like it when he’s held accountable, what a hypocrite 😂😂😂
Butler literally played like mid in every reg szn, got carried by gabe Vincent and caleb Martin after the first round in 2023, got popped first round in 2021 and got injured in 2023 and still tried talking shit. He talks too damn much
I love when they start this videos with "they made $300 million but half of that is taxes and then 10% is for their managers", like $135 millions isn't still a absolutely bonkers figure.
The way I see it... The heat aren't gonna pay anyone else since they never went out and got him actual help so why not pay the guy who kept your team from irrelevancy. 2 year extension to keep him happy then trade his ass mid season for some assets instead of slandering the guy who dragged you in to contention
Pat Riley has made it clear that he doesn’t know how or doesn’t want to add a co-star for Jimmy Butler. If they’re gonna waste the rest of Jimmy’s career by surrounding him with mediocrity, at least pay the man and make it worth his time. So yeah, Jimmy is completely justified to demand big money from the team that, at this point, is just wasting his time.
One thing that’s crazy is MJ was the highest paid player making 30 million and the salary cap at that time was up to 27 million. He was making more than the cap itself lol
That was a one year contract though
Talking about the love of the game while praising Pat Riley for ditching Dwayne Wade is wild af.
When players are dealt like commodities, you say it's a business.
But when players want to talk about money, you guys talk about love.
And you guys aren't even shareholders of the business.
WTF?
No business can avoid risk. And reputation matters for companies, especially those who deal with real customers with real products (not financial derivatives).
When players like Pippen take the loss, no one cares. So stop talking about injury when you assess a player's contract. No one is forcing the other party to sign the contract. It's your own responsibility to make the best investment prediction and decision and swallow whatever comes with it. Are you okay with your boss firing you once you get hurt while working without any compensation?
If you decide to buy an overpriced product, it's your own fault, so stop whining about that.
If you buy an expensive product that got destroyed accidentally, it's nobody fault either. Maybe it's your fault not to have any insurance for that.
If you're in the business to sell people stories and so-called "love" of the game or the franchise. It's also a necessity to feed into the narrative with real investment in personnel.
People like Pat Riley keep getting passes for treating his franchise players like shit and still got hailed as a good personality in the sport is just beyond me. What's the consistency in all you guys' concepts about the love and respect of the game?
Say it LOUDER for the people at the back!!!
And Pat was proven right for not paying Wade. Wade declined every season after that
If it’s up to you to make the judgement and decision to sign the contract then pat Riley is doing it right? If I’m paying my best player the highest contract and have no money left to fill the bench out guess what, you gone have to ply with what you have… players aren’t the only people getting paid by these owners, pat also didn’t just say F dwade to disrespect him but he did say we don’t got the money to pay you and the rest of the roster… wade proceeded to decline when he left anyways and still came back to Miami and getting a statue. Haslem took a generational pay cut to get that Miami big three there of course he was taken care of. Look up what they allow Jimmy to do while also paying him millions. He’s not a prisoner he’s gotten his way every time but now when he doesn’t get it the one time we gotta blame pat? Nah that’s what I’m not rocking with. If you want help take a pay cut so we can afford people (obviously the team makes a lot of money but there is also a cap limit on how much you can spend on the team and the 2nd apron rule which they would have surpassed if they pay Jimmy bam Tyler herro and also get another star (remember Jimmy ain’t want Tyler or bam traded the other 2 biggest contracts on the team) age also plays a factor as well. And if we look on the other side of the fence then we have a lebron situation where now it’s oh Bron needs help he can’t carry the lakers like he did his other teams but he’s the oldest on the team and being paid the most. How am I suppose to go get help for that when I don’t have any space left?
They're team shills, they love the players , all about players rights and freedom, until the those players use that freedom to do something they don't like.
These are not men making these videos and posts these are feminine ass little boys.
I hate this take so much. Basketball is a business. There are investors and employees, etc. Not to mention insatiable fans. Teams are supposed to want to win. You can't expect that of them if you're going to fault them for doing what's best for the team.
Look Man… 😮💨🔥🔥
Didn't this all start cuz Jimmy wanted a max contract and Pat Riley said no because he didn't want a podcast P situation
Been waiting for a vid about this 🔥🔥🔥
Pippen was told not to sign that contract by everyone. He has nothing to bitch about
The irony of MJ-a major and problematic gambler-talking down about the lucrativeness of basketball is not lost on us.
He started gambling when he started winning lmao. Made Basketball global and changes the way athletes were marketed, he deserves everything he earned for making the NBA as lucrative as it was.
@@TeflonDon451 Oh yeah, I don't disagree that he should have been paid a ton of money: he is one of the best of all time and transformed the game! (Although, 2x as much as any other player is-by far-more than anyone has made as far as I know, like Bron, Curry, Kobe, Kareem, Wilt, etc.) What I mean is that because he made so much that he was in a league of his own and doesn't really relate to how much others made (or didn't) AND he still struggled with gambling his money, even with how much more he made than everyone else. It's kind of like listening to multi-millionaires and billionaires tell us working class what money should mean to us and what we should be happy with.
Miami is 7th in the league in team salary. They are clearly not cheap. Meaning, we cannot simply keep saying Pat/Micky wouldn't pay to get Jimmy help or they are too cheap to pay Jimmy...other stars will see this. The facts are the facts. He's an older player, he has a history of being a mercenary (whoever bids the highest), and he wants max money. He could have played out the season and his and the Heat's positioning for trades would have been much easier BUT this is what he does. There's literally a history here. Doesn't mean we didn't enjoy the Jimmy build..the finals runs, etc. BUT, the money he wants cripples the Heat's future moves. Players who do not consider the new CBA in their demands (Jimmy, B.I, etc). Will get butt hurt BUT it's not the same as before.
Trying to put all his teams in a bad spot. Former and future. Maybe future team can save draft value by Jimmy tantrum
Not sure what makes me feel older: that MJ came out of his first retirement 30 years ago or that it’s already been 5 years since we lost Kobe 😢
Seems like no one wants to acknowledge how Jimmy coasting during the regular season makes it harder to get to/win the championship due to playoff seeding being lower consistently.
The Heat were only a 1 seed last be time with Jimmy and didn’t make it to the Finals (thanks to an ill advised Jimmy 3 attempt in the final seconds vs the Celtics) yet it was an easier run to get to the ECF.
This is what we Heat fans have been watching/living.
And if jimmy is tired out in the playoffs or injured? If jimmy needs to be #1 why keep herro when you could’ve traded him to Portland with 2 first rounders?
@@dthrust9037 Because Portland didn't want him
@ they did pat didn’t want to give up two first round picks
@@dthrust9037 The Blazers wanted Jimmy or Bam. The Blazers did not want Herro. Herro himself said he was glad the Blazers did not want him. Y'all really need to do research instead spreading misinformation.
@ they was playing hard ball because before that it was bam and picks and it wouldn’t have made sense to get jimmy if you’re starting a rebuild they was just trying to see how high they could score in a negotiation
Jimmy Bulter is all about Jimmy Butler- money, fame, and everything. If I were the Heat, I'd do what's best for the organization. Giving someone this old and injury prone is a recipe for mediocrity.
Ad ends at 4:31
Nah fuck all that. This man dont be tripping for no reason. He took this team to the finals twice. And riley do be tripping on players. Until we get the full story we really need to stfu like we know what happened. We dont.
He did the same to shaq and d wade never forget. Pat Riley didn't do anything to improve the roster after them final runs and championships and even let people walk in free agency.
" Until we get the full story" just wait till the full story comes out and it makes Jimmy look bad more than the Heat organization
You can put the pieces together. Jimmy been wanted better supporting cast for years, basically another all star. He sees that they haven't been doing that and they haven't given him an extension. Okay he knows they see no future with him on the team, he decides its not worth to risk another year because anything can happen in a year. He asked for trade in private and they probably said something along the lines of no so Jimmy and his team took it pubilicly to force himself out. He wants a longer contract with bigger guaranteed vs his 1 year left as quick as he can
Fun Fact: Jimmy Butler never made it past the 2nd round before joining a Miami team of "nobodies". This includes teams that had KAT and Embiid. If Jimmy is the only reason the Heat won, why didn't he have more success with "better" teams?
Boom! People act like this man was LeBron before he got there
Tbf Embiid is a notorious playoff choker
Good point. He had better talent other places. That said. Jimmy's best playoffs have come while inMiami, mostly. It's a combo of him and the talent around him in Miami that their runs occurred. But he has nothing for leverage. His finals appearances are nice but not worthy of what he wants. Even if Riley decided to reverse his treatment with old stars and pay them after wade, Jimmy just simply doesn't qualify. Almost did enough
The only team pre heat that Jimmy had a chance to win it all was the Sixers where he lost in a second round game 7 buzzer beater. That wolves team ceiling was first round exit, and the bulls contention relied on drose health
By better you mean an undeveloped KAT, and embiid who chokes?
This isnt the 1st time mike spoke up about the future and hit the nail on the head
It’s on the owners for giving those big contracts no players worth that much unless you’re bringing a titles every other year and not first round exit.
I mean we can say this but pat gave him the max in 2021 he knew hell be seeing the declining years of Jimmy's career knowing Jimmy's past he rlly shouldve traded him in the 24 offseason and the heat would've probably gotten more assets in return too lol
People tried to say Kyrie Irving in Brooklyn created a more toxic environment than Jimmy Butler in Minnesota. One guy couldn't play under a mandate, the other forced himself to be traded away. Agree or disagree?
Let's change the word couldn't to the phrase "didn't want to". I think that's more accurate.
Traded away from a bad situation after taking them to their first playoffs after 15 years? Nothing wrong with it

@@MontyElazeguino it was couldn’t because the team would have been fined and the nets didn’t wanna take that gamble on Kyrie until later in the season when they realized that they’re getting thrashed (a mandate that barely even lasted a year and only effected Kyrie because other players who didn’t get the shot were allowed to play in New York)
@@timmynguyen4758 "didn't want to take a gamble on kyrie" Kyrie could've taken the shot and made himself available, simple. Doesn't matter if the mandate barely lasted a year, there was still a mandate and he didn't want to follow it.
The issue is the comparison between players.
On player gets paid a certain amount and another thinks he deserves the same if not more. Somewhere in that, a player is overpaid whether one gets old or whatever…then someone young and blooming needs more because they’re technically better and the future. It never ends. It’s a cycle that will keep getting bigger until the NBA simply says…this is the max. We’re not doing more than that. But they shouldn’t even do that because it’s a business that’s steadily growing.
Honestly can’t think of how to fix the issue. People will always want more and look at what’s on someone else’s plates when they’re competing. Ain’t no way a non all star getting paid more than me if I’m an all star type shit

I don't get how the value of players has increased this much since the late 90's. 30 million might be worth less today than in 1995, but it's still 30 million f'n dollars. People are caring more about adjusting million dollar sports contracts than adjusting the minimum wage for cost of living. This is stupid.
Only players that have the kind of leverage in contract negotations are the true superstars like Dirk, Kobe, Duncan. Players that want their money when they haven't given the city rings are delusional. NBA contracts are too damn high nowadays with players playing the least amount.
MJ was absolutely right. Contracts control how motivated players are. If their ego is big, they expect the same for their contracts.
If we're keeping it real, jimmy butler has done nothing in his career to merit top money. Mediocre stats, no championships, a few all stars and all nba selections. This guy is a DIVA

The "my joy back" statement pissed so many people off because we see these athletes making millions to play basketball, while regular people work tough, low-paying jobs and could only dream of being worth $90 million or more.
If you only tie joy to money, then I guess you may feel that way. The whole “you make millions to play a game” trope basically says that because you make a comfortable living financially, to hell with the human element. These guys spend their playing careers traveling all the time living out of suitcases, away from their families, listening to people they’ve never met psychoanalysis there every word and deed, death threats because your team won by 2 instead of 3, and giving up any semblance of privacy. Not to mention all the things that no amount of money can save you from, like personal tragedy and heartbreak.
Jimmy Butler is full of it, didnt get Miami no rings and got locked up by Denver Nuggets
Any player past the age of 35 should not get max money, the only way you do that is if you have a clear way to a championship.
The NBA should start looking at ways to restructure contracts like the NFL.
Listen, people criticize the Heat and Pat Riley for not going all-in with Jimmy. First of all, it's not worth going all-in unless you get the right guy(s), if you make the wrong deal, you're screwed, and besides, they WERE willing to commit most of their assets for Dame, so I don't think that argument stands.
More importantly though, even if they had gone all-in, nothing would change, Jimmy would still be demanding the max. Because they didn't though, they can let him walk, they didn't sell off their future to win around Jimmy so there's no pressure to resign him, they can rebuild just fine without him.
Nah, this is all Jimmy, he's locker room poison and he's not worth anything near a max at this point.
Lol how the roster gonna get better when old ass jimmy wants all the cap space?
Bro when you have a good enough player doesnt matter if your team aint that talented he's still going to put up big numbers cause they play through him
I don't think anyone will pay him besides Phoenix because he's not worth it. Beal said he's not going anywhere, and I can't blame him. I'm not moving my family because Jimmy wants to get paid LOL

Gumbel was wrong trying to get Mike to pocket watch. 😂😂😂
lol, it's crazy to see folks clowning on the Heat for not getting Jimmy help, look at how much help Jokic has gotten. He got AG, who was considered a bust, and WB, who was considered absolutely washed, that's it. Stop complaining, Pat has gotten Jimmy more help from his FO than Jimmy, though that is mostly due to incompetence, Heat just didn't want to go all-in.
mfs told Scottie not to sign that contract 😅
Anyone remember when he had his shot to really be the man in the finals, how did he come up? Baseline jumper short. He is not that guy period.
Pat Riley took Jimmy Butler for granted
If his leverage is playoff Jimmy, then he needs to play instead of running his mouth. He didn’t play in 2024 playoffs. He missed time in the famous 2023 playoffs, with an ankle injury. It’s was Gabe, Lowry, bam, Caleb, and etc that got us through the Knicks series. The Heat played Celtics with a hobbled Jimmy. Let’s not act like he didn’t get any help. In Philly, Minnesota and Chicago he’s had embid, wade, rondo, KAT, Simmons etc and STILL did not get to the finals. Real fans know.
"vintage first take" - footage is from 2012 - 👴🏻
13 years ago, we getting old 😭
Tyler Herro has been a star this year and he’s only 24, idk why people were surprised when he was streaky at 20-22.
The video does not understand, and a lot of people do not realize, which is that the 2012 Lakers were built for Phil Jackson’s triangle offense. Magic Johnson said this at the time. But executive Jimmy Buss and his dad, owner Jerry, did not want Phil back and so they hired Mike D’Antoni as the head coach. Even D’Antoni now admits he was the wrong coach for that team.
* The Lakers had 2 bigs, Pau and Dwight. D’Antoni never could fit bigs effectively in his offense. There was no inside game. So, Howard and Pau were on the perimeter.
* In the meantime D’Antoni had the 7 second offense where Kobe is rushing to get into his shots. That strained his body and led to the Achilles injury.
* The Lakers were a mess because of the hiring of D’Antoni. They didn’t make the playoffs again for 6 seasons after D’Antoni was gone and AD plus LeBron arrived.
I aint giving jimmy a dime
I dont watch basketball, football or any sport like i did 30 years ago. Now it's just money money money and no love for the game, plus rules have been changed way too much. 💯
"Love for the game" it's not the same thing that love for playing professionally.
That MJ clip
He really never misses
Less talented, always injured, take off days, viewership is down, but more money. Make it make sense.
For me the issue is mentality. Players think they deserve all the money in the world, at the expense of their teammates, organizations and anyone inbetween. DO these players deserve to make millions? Hell yeah they are the best as what they do and produce a product worth billions and they should get there fair share, but it has been blown of out proportion. people demanding money they arent worth then crying about it when they dont get it. go cry in your mansion they didnt want to give you 113 mill for 2 years, i will not make that money in 50 lifetimes.
This is why I think Jimmy Butler will probably leave the Heat for nothing in free agency because Pat Riley is not going to fold. I doubt the Warriors will really be able to give Jimmy what he wants, but if he really wants to win a championship then the Warriors might be his best option.
Call me crazy, but I don't think Jimmy & Draymond getting along, even if they're all smiles in front of the cameras, it only takes one Green comment or Butler to start drama in that locker room.
I strongly disagree with you. There’s no comparison between Jimmy n Kobe in their team contact. Kobe was winning championships with one team. Kobe deserved every penny because he brought in billions in ticket sales, tv ratings and marketing.
Horace grant making more than shaq is crazy
Kel’el Ware has real potential to be the best player in the current draft class and Herro is having a career year. As a Heat fan I love Jimmy and appreciate the years he gave us, but Pat definitely sees a high value young core he can quickly retool back into contention. Plus with the current CBA, I honestly wouldn’t pay Jimmy right now either
The Game has grown the NBA is worth BILLIONS the players are still not getting that compared to owners
He was making billions off of shoes. It’s really easy to tell someone that it ain’t about the money, when you’re a billionaires.
UA-cam is striping you is you right to speak freely.
Tyler Herro is currently an all star and Bam is a star. They have some young good talent. Enough excuses.
They were no shows in the playoffs. Don’t start that narrative.
@@kesenaememere8520 Tyler? Yes but Bam? Bam was crucial to Miami's runs
Loving the cole music on the background
got to love that swish is a true J.Cole fan
Players should be paid per game
Lol you started the vid. with Jimmy James Dad 😂
The trade deadline is two weeks away and it's time to see what decisions and move the Miami heat are going to make overall as a whole for there organization going forward.🏀💯
Pat Riley is like Florentino Perez for Real Madrid. Nobody is bigger than the club. If you get older, you have to take less or you’re out.
You literally can't compare kobe getting a large contract at 35 to Jimmy butler kobe is a top 2 of all time and a 5 time champ that gave the lakers everything yall can compare Jimmy to.lebron tho
what an intro he said not many these day but damn u can only agree to him the goat simple as fu...
Lets try to think realistically, once your career is over its over. In term of legacy, noone gives a shit unless you a SUPERSTAR. If you just an all star player then people going to appreciate your career but they don't care like that. Being in the league is not an unlimited money tree, when its over, its over and it can be over next season. You have to get what you are worth and Butler can get that money on a different team so why stay loyal to a team that won't do the same for you. In life you have to be greedy without losing your morals, nothing wrong with that
At the end of the day, these teams are nothing without the players. They deserve to be paid more than these executives to be frank. But that will never happen
4:45 man that 1Train beat is so hard
Butler saga will officially come to an end after the trade deadline and we will see how it goes overall.🏀💯
28s ago, never been this early
The only team to make it all work out financially was the warriors. If KD never gets injured he’s for sure staying a couple more years while everyone is underpaid.
I like Jimmy but Personally I’m against Jimmy in this entire situation. You came to a franchise with the hope of getting a supermax from the influence of d wade, with the whole world knowing how stingy pat riley can be with super maxes who previously let 2 superstars in their prime walk over it. If the entire point of Miami was the hopes of a super max he did it to himself
Ok in what way did pat help butler in 4 years ? Keep in mind jimmy beat the Celtics that just won with Gabe vincent
@@dthrust9037 Caleb Martin averaged 19 pts a game in that series on 60% shooting and people were debating if he should've won the ECF MVP over Jimmy
And if your love is gone, it's time for you to go.
We should have held on to Max Stuss and either Caleb or Gabe
Paul George 😂😂😂😂😂
