I have a 1891 Argentinian carbine. Love the gun.

I had a turkish gew 98 with german and turkish stampings that measured 1.11 on the shank and took a large ring barrel

This is incredibly useful, thank you!!
Wasn’t near the top of my search results, but eventually got there.
If you don’t think it too much work, perhaps you could edit and spin this (and your expertise into a couple of other - perhaps more search friendly sub-videos, but who knows with YT - these days.)
What I was after, (have a one day safari rifle caliber custom build in mind,) was how to tell and decode ring/caliber size. This answered nicely. Probably it wouldn’t hurt to add enough measurement in metric conversions as a subtitle or the like, too for friends abroad.
Think cut down vids on the threading differences for barrels, magazine compatibility options/considerations, and such, would be gold for others too.
    Thanks again!

I have a K98k from 1941 with Norwegian barrel in 3006 and it shoots well :)

Not sure about the barrel thread info I'm in the process of building a .26 Nosler on a Turkish Mauser and the thread diameter is the standard 1.10. I may have had an armory rebuild in the past and the thread was opened up first it's Turkish Mauser I've worked on.

I believe there are large thread receivers, if I understand correctly, the large thread were reworked German receivers. Thats what I remember, but I do know there were both large and small, most being small. Good luck!

Can anyone tell me what other firing pin I can use in a Turkish mauser. I cannot find one to purchase specifically for a Turkish mauser.

Try numrich parts, I have purchased firing pins from them in the past.
