I actually really like the Grey Gargoyle figure. I think he's definitely not bad in any way, could have used some sort of effects to help him stand out, but he's pretty great.
Warpath is a great figure! His physical size is impressive and he has a very distinct look. The character shows up in the first scene of the Days of Future Past movie. Songbird has a major balance issue with that huge backpack/wing piece but is a nice figure.
I do kinda regret not picking up katy for $5 at target. but since the shang-chi figures were clearanced out before the movie even released I had no idea that I'd love the character.
Thunderbird died in the comics and was replaced by his younger brother Warpath. He took up his brother's mantle for a short time before becoming his own character. The Thunderbird toy is John not James. Warpath is James. They are two different action figures and two different characters.
Three hours later, Songbird is on Amazon for $30. (Best price I could find was $25.) Been meaning to pick her up for a custom I want to do, but have been waiting to get her cheap. Oh well. Time to check Mercari again...
You can save hundreds of dollars yearly by purchasing used figures off of eBay. Just be careful when buying from unknown/new sellers since sometimes they lie about certain figure's conditions. For the most part however, I have had a 90% or more satisfactory experience buying used/loose figures.
Thanks for the list! Also Warpath is Thunderbird's little brother. Thunderbird died in his second mission with the X-men. I can't remember if Warpath went by his brother's name when he was first introduced. I think he did.
Got excited about cyclops, Maverick, and warpath. But alas too late. Songbird is $30 now too. $10 just for the head and hands of Talos is a great deal though. That's the army builder range for me. Honestly don't hate the capt. That's a decent tech goon body if you've got some heada that fit
I gotta correct you really quick. There's not many native Marvel characters so I gotta defend my people, John Proudstar was Thunderbird and James was Warpath and they were brothers. Wikipedia says they're the same because Warpath replaced his brother but that was because he got killed and he wanted to carry his torch.
Damn, I probably paid full price for some of these. I have; that Captain America but I only paid $8 for him, Yon Rogg full price, Genis-Vell full price, Cyclops $15, Grey Gargoyle full price, Talos full price, Songbird full price, Warpath full price. Damn, did I get ripped off. Now, for those who are wondering, I am building an Evil Kree Avengers is why I bought those, I also need Skrulls, and villains. The Captain America was for a Future Avengers team, but then the superior, more Futuristic, Civil Warrior figure came out. But hey, I have a grandson now, he's only 2 months old right now, but I can pawn that Captain America off on him in a couple of years and that's one present I won't have to buy! I previously have 2 granddaughters, little Norah, 6, only wanted my Ninja Turtles. LOL
Thanks for putting up this video! I agree. I have the Honourable Mentioned 2 packs, Maverick and Songbird. They turned out more amazing than I thought they would be!
And to think I blew so much on the TRU Warpath years ago. And yeah, LIVE the X-Factor Cyclops and MCU Luke Cage. Still on my shelf. And Songbird's body can be a good base for a Soranik Natu custom.
What I enjoy the most about buying marvel legends is it reminds me of collectin cards as a kid. If you are always on the hunt and collect loose, you can always find legends at 10-15 dollars each ( im in canada) so its fun to add figures to the collection when people with less space switch out figures or just decide to sale.
Big Nerdy you said that Captain America wasn't very good. but you know how hard it is to find a shield. Captain America figures are pretty easy to find if you want one without a shield. Sometimes Captain America bodies are easy to find without a head as well.
Marvick is amazing! I agree with you I also really like the cyclops. I love the laser effects plus it was the first cyclops I ever got. ( I am A newer collector)
Maverick is great... New mold too I believe. The Cap Marvel MCU I just can't. I got the sentry and just want the figures gone lol. Cyclops Retro Awesome. He's X-Factor in this suit right?
i have picked up most of these for around 10 bucks over the last year. i swapped carol danvers head on the body with a jacket with the head from the cpnmarvel with no baf. it looks pretty good. plus it comes with a cat.
Here's a good one: Age of Apocalypse Magneto. While higher cheap, he's only 17.99. I'd figure he'd be scalped to oblivion since Magneto is an iconic Marvel villain and most magneto figures are above 50 nowadays. If you don't have a Magneto in your collection, get this version. I consider it the definitive Magneto, and no I don't mind the long native American hair at all. He looks even more badass with it. I was named after this character and couldn't pass on the opportunity to pick this guy up
Thunderbird died in his apperance as an X-Men with the new team after the original 4 members when Wolverine, Colossus ,Nightcrawler etc were Introduced ..James Proudstar apperance in new Mutants was John Thunderbird "Proudstars BROTHER" but took his name in homage briefly... he than made his own name War Path and more known as a member of Cables new formed group in the 90s X-Force. So no not the same character 😜...John was Thunderbird...James was Warpath
You should've waited until you mentioned Talos as the 5th figure before you made the"Cena, you can't see me" reference. You know, since he holds up 5 fingers
Oye, big nerdy! Since we're both Action figure math nerds, could you do a vid on where the action figure industry is goin to? My thoughts are with the increase on how quick these figures are going on sale, clearanced out, showing up at discount stores ( i.e. Ross, Marshalls) their lifetime at retail may be reaching its end and moving into online only. Also, the collecting demographic is getting older, already have their roster full or close to it, and are now investing in high end collectibles i.e S.H , Hot Toys, Mezco for their perceived value ( which explains the rise of such companies)
It seems the prices jst went up haha... I love Songbird as a character. She's has evolved quite a lot since her begginings, not only because she became a hero, but because she has become a leader. From her first appearance in Thunderbolts she was insecure and as far from leadership material as you can get, but Marvel developed her very well Id say.
You can find the whole Captain Marvel set for way cheaper than shown here. Just keep an eye out but I've ran into them at 99 Cent Stores for $6 a piece and even on eBay I've gotten the whole wave of seven figures for $50 not long ago.
What were you expecting to be #1?

I don’t know
I don’t know either but I might use that captain marvel dude for a custom destroy man figure so thank you
Someone better I guess…
He’s a boss fight in no more heroes
There cowls are similar

Noticing a trend here with the MCU figures making the list. Probably will see a lot of Shang Chi and Eternals waves getting the same treatment soon.
I do kinda regret not picking up katy for $5 at target. but since the shang-chi figures were clearanced out before the movie even released I had no idea that I'd love the character.
Definitely agree on Warpath and Maverick. Under rated figures! Might need to get Songbird to complete my Thunderbolts if she’s that cheap.
Thunderbird died in the comics and was replaced by his younger brother Warpath. He took up his brother's mantle for a short time before becoming his own character. The Thunderbird toy is John not James. Warpath is James. They are two different action figures and two different characters.
Can't wait for every single figure from the eternals to be on this list.
the number one figure is the younger brother of Thunderbird from giant sized X Men #1
Matt, Thunderbird and Warpath are brothers.
Silver Samurai and Arcade have been pretty cheap, and I think those are great figures
Three hours later, Songbird is on Amazon for $30. (Best price I could find was $25.)
Been meaning to pick her up for a custom I want to do, but have been waiting to get her cheap. Oh well. Time to check Mercari again...

I managed to snag all of these figures below $10 from clearance aisles and Ross. I'm surprised Rock Python didn't make the cut.
Thanks for the list! Also Warpath is Thunderbird's little brother. Thunderbird died in his second mission with the X-men. I can't remember if Warpath went by his brother's name when he was first introduced. I think he did.

me too, but they are all 19$+
That kree sentry BAF is pretty awesome too… if you pick all those up worth building
5:35 The John Cena moment was great.
Now, I have to buy Cyclops and Warpath. Thanks, Matt!
Damn, I probably paid full price for some of these. Captain Marvel: What, no smile?
Audience: *GROAN*
bought that cyclops and silver samurai retro pack for $3.00 at gamestop last year
Just today I bought marvel legends series Odin for $11.19 way below retail. And its an awesome figure.
Love these types of vids, I turned the X factor Cyclops into an iron fist
Need more of the lists like this. Can you do DC, Power Rangers and TMNT as well.
Jim Lee Cyclops is coming in the VHS box X-men series
Facts, a collection is based on what you love! Don’t let anyone tell u otherwise.
Warpath is Thunderbird's brother.
And to think I blew so much on the TRU Warpath years ago.

That maverick figure is amazing
That SongBird one is totally fake, it's at $30 atm.
And we on the east side of the continent can get these figures even cheaper at our local Ollie's bargain outlet store. Ollie's! GOOD STUFF CHEAP!
I bought the whole Strong Guy wave from them like month ago for like 10$ a pop along with Retro card Cyclopes and Cowboy Wolverine. Ollies is great!
Tomato Dragon, especially at this time of year. I make weekly trips from November through December.
Warpath is thunderbird younger brother
I love the cyclops fig 🔥
If anyone has a Burke's Outlet or an Ollie's nearby you will find many of these peg warmers as well as others for cheaper than Amazon.
Last month I found some Marvel Legends at discount stores like Ross and DD's Discount for 10 bucks
Big Nerdy you said that Captain America wasn't very good. but you know how hard it is to find a shield. Captain America figures are pretty easy to find if you want one without a shield. Sometimes Captain America bodies are easy to find without a head as well.
Warpath is the brother of thunderbird. Who joined x force
*checks Amazon for Songbird*
"Now $27... greatttt..." lol
Marvick is amazing! I agree with you
I also really like the cyclops.
Yes sir. X -Factor from the late 80s. Walt Simonson
That Genis-Vell figure isn't based on the MCU. It's based on his '00s comic book design by Alex Ross.
You need Songbird for your Thunderbolts team. Dude. Warbirds and Warpath is expensive!
i have picked up most of these for around 10 bucks over the last year.
i swapped carol danvers head on the body with a jacket with the head from the cpnmarvel with no baf. it looks pretty good. plus it comes with a cat.

I see the retro venom there only make sense he had it because most of the collector wanted omega red body mold as venom body which works btw
Captain Marvel, Cyclops and the Netflix two-pack can be had for $30 total at Ollie's.
Ah, bummer, Retro Cyclops is already back to 20 bucks.
I’m surprised at maverick, it’s an amazing figure! Goes well with all weapon x related figs.
DANG I HAVE THEM ALL!!!! lol no savings for me lol
Warpath now $20! ppl bought it or amazon is watching you
Any advise on figuring out which Marvel Legends figures will drop in price considerably after a while?
Oye, big nerdy! Since we're both Action figure math nerds, could you do a vid on where the action figure industry is goin to? I got Songbird on clearance at Walgreens for $2.99
Last week I found three figures from the captain Marvel wave all of those cost seven dollars for seven dollars
The entire joe fix it wave is on there for $100. Almost got it but the only figure that I really wanted is kang.
Awesome top 10 as always, I was able to pick up 2 eyed Nick Fury at dollar tree for $4.99 to round out that Century wave
At a dollar tree!?!?wtf
Louis 2 pack I've got a handful 2 custom 4 that suit body and it only cost $13 Canadian at game stop
Literally always grab legends thinking they are gonna go up and the ones I get never do
Out of these figure prices the only ones still left are from Captain Marvel. Shame I missed Cyclops.
You do know the NAZIs arose to power fighting communism and their bloodiest battles were fought against the Communist Soviets correct?
Couldn't see cyclops or songbird that cheap
Something tells me that next year this list will be full of externals figs
From what i remember, Thunderbird and Warpath were brothers....was this changed?
It seems the prices jst went up haha... I love Songbird as a character. She's has evolved quite a lot since her begginings, not only because she became a hero, but because she has become a leader. i have found the whole set of them for $6-$8 a piece at Macy's Backstage section in multiple store in different states.
These were and are all shelf warmers, the only one that is truly an amazing figure is that Cyclopes one, I have the dark blue version
Love that Luke Cage figure and don't understand why it's a peg-warmer!
Odin form the marvel legends infinity saga is 11.19 on Amazon and other websites
Need to say it’s a Top ten list in the thumb,
Dang warpath shot up to $22
I thought Captain Marvel would be #1. There are way too many versions of her on the pegs. I don't think people are too excited about her
that joke about your daughter made me laugh
Mafex Makes a Good Cyclopes if price dosnt matter
Great prices for anyone who is good at customizing.
I gotta find me that Warpath!!
Great info, big!
paid for by Amazon.
I have never owned any of those figures, oh and last night I checked out Amazon
Maverick is a steal great figure
Heyyy.... they seem to have gotten the % drops correct this time around!! 👏👏👏
You should have 1 million subscribers
Odin is going for 11 dollars on Amazon right now
3.05 young sheldon image
All the non kree wave are now $20 😞
How shocking that nobody wants any captain marvel figures. 100 years could pass and people still wouldn’t want figures from that awful movie.
I bought God Doom for only $12.55.
Why should I buy them if I’m not interested in them. I just buy the ones I like.
The prices arent these prices anymore BTW. (as of DEC 16 2021)
Ugh, Cyclops is back at $20
Nope, I bought him this week
@@deadpoolanimation7297 and as of 16 min ago, he’s $20
@@dartmouthlights7627 oh right, turns out big nerdy has a big impact on these things then
I bought some and donated them all to toy drives...
How is he getting these prices?
after this video comes out, it won't be cheap anymore 😂
You can get the Captain Marvel wave for $100. Nobody wants it.
