My Video Gaming History

I've been contemplating on discussing my history relating to video games for a little while, but today's the day I finally sit down and go through it. I may get a few details mixed up, but trying to remember the exact times of when I obtained certain games and systems wasn't easy.
Intro: 0:00
The early years (1997-1999): 0:22
The PS1 and why it's my favourite system: 5:20
Getting a GBC instead of a Dreamcast in 2001: 43:23
Brief talk about the GBA: 46:15
The Xbox and PS2 era: 47:27
Collecting, the good and the bad: 57:21

Hiya mate. Thanks for keeping me company while i was cleaning the house. This was like listening to a superhero's gaming origin story! I think the last console I felt excited about was probably the Gamecube. I did pick up a PS3 and Xbox 360 years later when they were pretty cheap and, whilst they had some great games, they weren't very exciting as consoles. After that I just decided to move to PC because the games are cheaper and you can do more stuff on them. Cheers for the vid and all the best.

In regards to the 360 and PS3 era, you've more than perfectly hit the nail on the head of my genuine feelings towards them. I can only list a handful of games that I considered great, particularly The Last of Us and Tomb Raider (2013). Good systems and all but you can't beat the classics pre-2000, though PC is most likely more convenient. Thanks again for the brilliant response mate 😎
