I have such fond memories of coming to this market when I was a young boy especially in primary school with my mum, 2 Sisters and rest of my family including my Grandma on a regular basis. I don't know why they decided to knock this Market down for absolute no reason at all to have been demolished in the first place in my own opinion. This one had lots of people coming to do their weekly shopping which the current market located next to Church Street has become so empty with not many people doing their Shopping anymore and lots of stalls have closed because of high rent by the bloody greedy council.
i loved this place, im only 17 but i have fond memories of going here with my family.
Not only do I miss this market in Blackburn but also Tommy Balls big shoe department store that was on Hart Street, huge it was

Remember coming here years ago. Sad it’s all gone and now been replaced by a hideous mall.
