- No being late for Herbology this year seeing as the greenhouse is finally conveniently placed right outside Hogwarts. We wouldn't want to pass up the chance to learn Diffindo, a truly evil spell that dismembers ropes, spiderwebs, plants and animals. I'm not sure if it's the right spell to teach young paranoid kids scared out of their mind on the lookout for the "Heir of Slytherin".
The challenge itself has a fairly calm atmosphere, but do not let that fool you. The number of bloodthirsty beasts and poisonous plants is staggering, and the level is a giant maze. You will probably not avoid being burned, bitten and mauled, especially if trying to complete the time trial for those extra house points.
At least we get to find out what Wiggenweld Potion tastes like! (like energy drink)

Those orange Snails scared the shit out of me especially when I didn’t expect them. When they saw me and charged at me I was always like “WHOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAA!!!!!!” And then I jumped and dodged them.
Bro I hate the snails too on that level besides the Goyal level
Gnome throwing was always my favorite part of this game.
I liked throwing the mushrooms at the gnomes
I liked throwing that one gnome into the water pit , in the part where you look for an ingredient in Snapes dungeon
The sounds that come from their nest afterwards are hilarious 🤣
And this little snail screamed all the way home
I remember in the Philosopher's Stone game, Incendio was used to deal with the killer plants. Looking back, and knowing what the spell should actually do, I'm tempted to ask why Professor Sprout would be okay with kids burning down her plants.
Incendio is actually a fire spell. It pisses me off that the first game made it a herbology spell
Spiky Plants etc are more weeds than plants to me
As a kid that spoke spanish as a native language, I always thought that it was weird that it didn't seem to set them on fire. Even the spell symbol is a flame

Well, it's pretty much supposed to illuminate our trek through the dark root tunnel
That's was my only explenation as well... All the hours spent trying to find a secret wall was such a waste!!
I don't see why the developers included that gargoyle, then… We can easily navigate that tunnel with just its own lighting alone.

This challenge was okay except it was kinda long and much more anxiety inducing than the others
