I attended Sir Tom Jones concert in Trondheim, Norway last week He opened the concert with this song. I was so impressed that I actually lack words. From this song it only went up. His "Vegas" stuff is campy fun but this stuff reminds us that Jones, Orbison, and Elvis are the holy Trinity of male vocalists. (I'll put Waylon in there too, only cause I'm a fan!) Jones last two albums are just sublime, Tower of Song and Didn't Rain being standouts. Now if only we could get Sir Tom to work with Rick Rubin, boy that would be great, no?
