As a mother, grandmother, music teacher, and special education teacher, I am so grateful for Charlotte's music. Her songs are thoughtful, musically beautiful, and purposeful. (Well, there are the laundry and pizza songs, but they satisfy our need for humor. ) Thank you!

Beautiful song, but the spanish version is wrong. I'm cuban and we sang this song like so; "Quiero que haya sol siempre, que tambien haya cielo, que mama siempre viva y que tambien viva yo....."

This song was written by a notorious Russian poet and song writer Lev Oshanin, not a six year old boy haha
The writer and immensely popular children's poet, Korney Chukovsky, later wrote that the inspiration for the song had been the four lines of the refrain, which were composed in 1928 by the four-year-old boy Kostya Barannikov.
The lyrics of the entire song were written by Lev Oshanin, but these are not translated or sung; the refrain, which is the only part we sing now, was written by the four year old boy, so ha ha to you.
