So there's an entire career choice dedicated to just wearing clothes and being photographed? We live in an amazing age. I'm with Fred on this, people need to know about it
@zlozlozlo What? Where? How can I choose this career? Do I have to go to school for this? Can you please respond? I am looking for a new job since I got fired from my last job. It's been tough financially and would like a career change.
Ha... in one of my very earliest attempts to speak to a girl that I found devastatingly beautiful and -- this is important -- sweet-looking, like she wouldn't eat me alive, I summoned all my courage, walked up to her, and said, "Um... you're really... pretty." In a croaky voice. And then forgot all words. She laughed a little, said "thank you?" with a question mark and walked away.
The reason that Portlandia is so successful is because Carrie Brownstein allows Fred to be completely nuts and she makes his craziness seem normal. It would never work without Carrie
Fred's fish out of water play in our "everything is candy world" is amazing. There are some beautiful people in the world and whether it's in a magazine on the street, you can become intoxicated by it. And trying to explain it can come out creepy but at the end of the day we are humans and we appreciate beautiful things. "I don't get what you don't get" Uh Carry in my hands is an intoxicating book of hundreds of drop dead gorgeous people. Go Fred. Go Carrie.
"One of those weird people who notice when people are pretty." HAHAHAHAHAHA because it's so sad how much people notice and give benefit to people because of it.
hehe nice little skit... hi Cameron from Mexico 🙂 ..i have to agree with the content of the skit.... personally?..i like your brows! really! :-D Nice, thin, elegantly curved. I watched a TED talk of yours..the one that got a few million views i think it was..where you were down about yourself. Two words: go figure. That part to me doesn't compute. Write back if you like :-D email's on our page.. :-D
I can relate to him here: when you see someone, for the first time, either in person, pictures, movies... and she's one of the most beautiful women you've ever seen, it's truly remarkable, like you realize 'there may be only 5 or 10 women this beautiful that I will ever see in my whole lifetime', it's a spiritual experience, even if you never see them in person, there are women that are so gorgeous that they seem mythological. Princess Diana, JLo, Paula Abdul, I think Cara Delevigne is that beautiful... like, there will only be that short list, for every man, that he believes in his dying breath are the most beautiful women in the world, and when you see one that pretty, it is remarkable.
I 100% agree though. Pretty people are just so amazing, beauty is beathtaking. If only I were so pretty... Damn. I'd say I have body dysmorphia but I'm just appropriately upset about my ugliness.
You mean they are pleasant looking in the area of the face, but with an even higher degree of visual titillation? Fascinating, I would like to see them. Are they available for viewing sessions?
Dialectical Monist No they're not actresses or models, so I don't think they'd enjoyed being "viewed" by strangers. But they're way hotter than this woman
"I'm wearing the exact same jacket."
"You would never know... because on her..."
''I don't think she likes to make a big deal of that stuff, just..."
"But-but I do!"
"Ok."
So there's an entire career choice dedicated to just wearing clothes and being photographed? We live in an amazing age. I'm with Fred on this, people need to know about it
There's also an entire career choice dedicated to not wearing clothes and being photographed.
@zlozlozlo What? Where? How can I choose this career? Do I have to go to school for this? Can you please respond? I am looking for a new job since I got fired from my last job. It's been tough financially and would like a career change.
Dude playing the photographer actually crushed his part- perfect delivery throughout.
me trying to flirt with an attractive person

@@jackster1212 You forgot to spill a drink on yourself, and then trip over your own feet.
Hahaha! Fred is too pure for this world.

She is great as the straight man...woman.

"She is only the pictures, that's all they have" ......if this isn't Commentary on the fashion industry, then I don't know what is.
Mike Omaliko I was about to say "is this joke flying over my head"? so thanks for the clarification
"she's _only_ the pictures. that's all they have."
That's the important sentence right there
@@perperson199 Yeah, that was pretty savage. Fred takes no prisoners, and only leaves survivors to warn others.
this is me when I discovered Internet
Amazing!
"I don't get... what you don't get."
Right?!
Photographer: I don't think she wants to make a big deal about this.
Fred: I do.
Photographer: OKAY.
1:58 LOL classic, the factual delivery like it's not just a blatant insult

But I do.
Oh, ok.
Lmao 😂
Fred sounds like one of those people that “say things” in a very, um, “funny way”.
that's exactly how i feel when i see a model. and that feeling doesn't wear off. "her face! it's very, very so umm.."
That last sentence....spot on
I will use this if I ever meet a model.
“Look at the way the clothes are falling on her”
That's hilarious. He literally cannot understand the concept of professional modeling.
"One of those weird people who notice when people are pretty."
HAHAHAHAHAHA because it's so sad how much people notice and give benefit to people because of it.

Cameron Russell

Bullshit! Carrie totally looks good in that jacket.
this one was uncomfortable! (well, I guess a lot of Portlandia is...)
He's like the opposite of Terry Richardson
Its like Anne Hathaway and Mandy Moore had a cute baby
Other people flirting: You're so beautiful, wanna go out or something?
Me flirting: So... You like bread?

Covert narcissism.
Confirms models are boring.
And you've met many models?
@@mindit808 I have, and yeah, they're mostly about as interesting as mannequins. Really, really entitled mannequins.

John Britton 😆 maybe, I'm pretty sure I wrote that when I was drunk, so in retrospect even I find it hard to relate to.
Because when you're drunk you're having a religious expeirence
Crikey, you have some poor taste. :D
Maybe what you need to see is an optometrist .
I dont like how she wass
I 100% agree though. Pretty people are just so amazing, beauty is beathtaking. If only I were so pretty... Damn. I'd say I have body dysmorphia but I'm just appropriately upset about my ugliness.
She's not all that hot. There are a couple women at my place of work who are far more attractive.

Should have mentioned that "this is what a feminist looks like".
Regarding whom?
Carrie needs a tan
Finally -- humour has eliminated actually being "funny".
Fred has never been funny to me.
@James Volk I didnt know that guy's name was Fred until now (I know I will forget later too) and I dont know why youtube recommended this video to me.
and that's o.k!
