Love your videos. I now have a completely different view on the birth of Christ. May God bless you and help you to grow more in knowledge and wisdom of our Lord. May He be glorified forever.
Wasn’t Luke’s genealogy of Jesus from Mary’s line , and Matthew’s from Joseph’s (hence why they are different)? You guys are amazing! Thank you for the work you do. May God bless you with His wisdom and strength to carry out His work He is doing through you!
Thank you so much for your kind words and your prayers-they mean the world to us! We are humbled and grateful to be part of God’s work, and it’s wonderful to connect with others who love digging into Scripture as much as we do. To your question, you are absolutely right! Matthew’s genealogy (Matthew 1:1-16) traces the lineage of Jesus through Joseph, His legal father. This account was written for a primarily Jewish audience and emphasizes Jesus’ royal lineage as the rightful heir to David’s throne. It fulfills the Old Testament prophecies about the Messiah coming from David’s line. Luke’s genealogy (Luke 3:23-38), however, is often understood to trace Jesus’ lineage through Mary. This account underscores His biological connection to David, focusing on His humanity and role as the Savior for all people. Luke’s account also emphasizes Jesus’ universal mission by tracing His ancestry back to Adam, the father of all humanity. The differences between these genealogies don’t contradict each other but complement each other, providing a fuller picture of Jesus’ identity. It’s incredible how God orchestrated everything so perfectly, isn’t it? Thank you again for your encouragement, and may God continue to bless and guide you in your walk with Him. God Bless!
Another point about the virgin birth is that Joseph’s line was cursed due to Jeconiah. Thus Jesus inherits, through his adopted, earthly father Joseph, the legal line to the throne but not the curse. The curse is only in the bloodline.
Everyone knows ( especially in the olden days) when they say young madden it means VIRGIN! 100%! Because back in the day sex before marriage was absolutely appalling not like now when everyone just thinks it’s ok. So whom ever said young madden doing mean virgin they know darn well they are full of it 🙄
Amen! Digging into theology is what we’re all about. While we can’t meet IRL, we’re here to chat and share insights anytime. Keep the questions coming! God Bless.
the biggest reason God came through Mary to live as a man was that the sins of the father follow the children. Adams sin, follows all the way to us, but it skipped Jesus because his father wasn't human. Only in that way, having no human father, could Jesus rightly claim to be sinless in all manner. He couldn't even be tainted by Adam's sin, because he had no human father to pass the sin on to him.
I really enjoy your guys' work. Please keep them coming, i can not get enough.
Thanks guys. Scripture and Christ are awesome. You guys are too.

would love to know y'all IRL so i could pick your brains on theological matters.
on adoption, in the ancient world, they treated an adopted child like "a branch grafted to the tree" and therefore LITERALLY family.
