This is the first time I’ve seen an Anne Boleyn alternate outfit and it’s amazing affffff, I’ve always wanted to see is Anne had an alternate outfit but I didn’t know if she did and it looks beautiful. The silver outfit for Catherine of Aragon fits so much and it works so much for Catherine too and I love it so much. I know Catherine is supposed to be gold because it kinda represents Beyoncé in a way but that silver looks amazing.
So most of the cast was isolating (except Vicki and Elèna) so they had to call in the universal Swings from west end to play the roles but now it happened that Elèna couldn’t go on (I don’t know why tho) so they called Hana (West end alt) to play Parr but now everyone is back from isolating and everything is okay now!
Aragon - Cassandra Lee Boleyn - Bryony Duncan Seymour - Natalie Pilkington Cleves - Liv Alexander Howard - Vicki Manser Parr - Hana Stewart I think. I don’t know the Liv very well but I think that’s her on as Cleves
because shes standby swing for both the west end and tour its probably a costume each production has on hand to fit an average measurement not tailored for her so its a tad lose. At one show it swiveled all the way round lol
@@CaptainLokii Ohno lol. But that does make sense. I'm sure it would be costly to make tailor-made costumes for everyone, including alternates for every queen they portray.
She's fromrhe west end cast and this is a megasix of the uk tour cast, which means that the Uk cast alternates were all used and those who couldn't come weren't available so there were blanks. so they called hana from the west end cast and she came to help... for an emergency. thus emergency cover
They changed the shape from it being like Aimie's Howard to the shape of Samatha's or Sophie's skirt. The same thing is happening at Collette's and Rachel's skirt.
There was a time where there were no principal actresses though: West End 1.8.21 (I believe) Aragon: Zara McIntosh (alternate) Boleyn: Cherelle Jay (alternate) Seymour: Hana Stewart (alternate) Cleves: Liv Alexander (swing) Howard: Bryony Duncan (swing) Parr: Collette Guitart (understudy)

@@yarraidalg Understudy - usually someone in the principle cast trained to do another role if needed. Usually only knows 1-2 roles other than their own. Performs regardless because they have their own part. Alt - someone who is basically 'on call' for the duration of a performance but doesn't have to be at the theatre, but they must be available if called. Trained in more than one role. Swing - ALMOST the same as an alt, but they STAY at the theatre during the show. I might have the names for swing/alt swapped, but the idea is the same. It can vary based on show. Six also used “cover”….
