The finalists: Yuki Saito, Giulia Ballaré, Mateusz Kowalski & Simone Rinaldo.
The winner was Mateusz Kowalski.

The compulsory piece is Les Arcanes by Nicholas Khan (winner of the EuroStrings Composition Contest). Yuki played also Regondi 12 variations, Barrios and Bogdanovic.
Giulia in addition played Takemitsu, Turina and last two movements of the José Sonata.
Mateusz played Barrios Contemplacion, Ponce Scherzino Mexicano & Giuliani’s 1st Rosiniana. This in addition to Les Arcanes.
Simone performed Pavana & Final from Jose’s Sonata & Ginastera Sonata along with Les Arcanes.
If the future of the classical guitar consists only of ever higher technical requirements, it would be very unfortunate.
